Yes, we will be above .500 again at some point. We just need to get healthy.

No, its very unlikely for us to get above .500 again with the team we have.

Yes, but only because we're going to make a trade before the deadline that makes us better.

We get Zion and all is well. He’s the best prospect since Davis. Honestly he’s the best college player I’ve watched.

Yeah hes absurd. 6% currently to get him. Thats a little better then 1-20 thats not bad at all. Thing that makes him exciting is he looks like hes going to be a monster on defense as well. Hes such a freak of nature. Listening to the realgm draft pod yesterday they were saying this draft is Zion tier a empty tier then Barret then another tier. Hes for sure a franchise changing style prospect.

The wizard have been winning more now that Wall went down they could very well pass us. Funny how people wanted Wall and for the second season in a row he goes down and the wiz excel without him. Sometimes big stats dont mean team success.

We could for sure pass the magic as well in tank standings. The top 5 are untouchable but the diff for number 1 between worst and 6th is only 5% chance.

The odds are definitely better, Hell just playing on the lottery sim machine for Tankathon I can get the Pistons on Zion or Barrett just about every 2-3 spins and that’s with the 8th pick, lol

Barrett has nice upside too with the way he attacks the rim. My sleeper pick if we can’t move up is Romeo Langford. All he needs is the 3 ball but he’s really smooth and plays both sides with a great body for a SG. But yeah Zion is on another planet.

We'd probably trade out of the #1 pick because we have Dre and Griffin and Gores seems enamored with both. I guess he might see the marketing goldmine in Zion, but I could see us trading down a couple of spots if we won the lottery and drafting Ja Morant while picking up another piece and/or dropping a couple bad contracts.

No way, even the dumbest GM wouldn’t trade Zion. Actually I’m sure there’s a few that would but I would cry if they moved down like that.

The fans would riot if they traded Zion to unload bad salary and pick up depth and a lower draft pick to build around Blake/Drummond. I'm seeing tank for Zion all over pistons forums/fan pages on the internet. You never pass opportunity up for a guy like that when you're a bad team. Esp this draft theirs nobody close to him this isnt going to be a deep draft like the past two.

Four straight losses since the original post with tough road games against the Clippers and Jazz coming up.

Interesting last night on TNT the crew talking about how they wouldn't give Blake or Dre all-star spots because of how horrible our team is. Its sad, but it seems like we need to constantly try to find things to motivate Dre. Maybe Barkley or Embiid or someone calling him out, maybe him not being an all-star will motivate him.... maybe the team rallies around Blake in his return to play against the Clippers. One thing is for sure though, we've got a very limited window to turn this around and then the trade deadline comes up fast because its now before the all-star game.

I didn't see the original comment as it's blocked out for me but I still see when they are quoted by others.

Our bad contracts (unless you are counting Dre, Blake, or Luke) all fall off the books in 2 years or less. You don't trade away someone seen as a franchise-changing talent, especially when you get him on a rookie deal.

I thought about refraining from commenting but this take is laughably bad. Like worst I've heard in a long time bad.

As long as they feel the same way about Davis, Doncic, Booker, Beal...

We won't have bad contracts. We will have Blake/Drummond and a bunch of expirings.
