Without a doubt Kemba has been trash lately and maybe the biggest reason why we haven’t been competitive lately because we usually go as he do.

Jordan is desperate. I'm telling you right now, there is no way he lets Kemba go anywhere. This guy will roll out the royal red carpet just to keep Kemba here because he puts gambling money in Jordan's pocket. I can't think of a single move Jordan has made that was for the future. It's all about right now, whatever it takes.

Jordan is desperate to lose-lose? The Hornets don’t have no control over where Kemba goes once he enters free-agency and there will be at least 3 other teams willing to pay him the max including the Pacers, Nets, and Knicks.

I just don't buy that Kemba wants to be exposed by going to another team that has a chance at competing. He stays in Charlotte and gets treated like a hero. He also knows that we can't afford to sign any other stars, so he gets to be top dog here, even with stinking it up half the time. He'll probably sign the max contract, put in low effort for year 1 and 2, then get some mysterious injury year 3. Ask for a trade year 4 and start playing well again to get another check.

Exposed? Lol. Kemba would average 20 on almost any team in the NBA. He’s tired of losing. That’s why he’s giving us his ass to kiss.

It appears that he’ll likely fall so our chances are good. He’s no longer in the top 5 of most mocks nevertheless the top 10 on some.

Your trolling is dumb. Atleast be smart about it when you try to do it.

I agree with 316 that re-signing Kemba would be a bad idea because it’ll be more of the same. We don’t have enough cap space to improve the team around him now on a player-friendly contract so imagine how much worse it’ll get once we pay him 3x what he’s making now lol.

Close enough: 127 to 96. Good thing we don't play the Warriors on this trip. They just plastered Detroit with 146 points. And Houston scored 141 against Cleveland.

This should have been the year the Hornets broke through, given the huge weakness of the Eastern Conference.

I miss Clifford. The different lineups were fun at first, but this team is not well coached. At all.

This team is just not very talented.

We all knew going into this season that we were pretty much the same team as last season. Only difference is we don’t have Clifford’s stubborn rotations and Dwight as an irritation.

I honestly don’t know what you all expected from JB after his previous stints as a interim head coach. I don’t think JB is a bad coach and I don’t think he’s a good one (yet).

You guys cried all last year about having a coach that play the young guys and here JB is playing Monk and Miles who both make us worse when they’re on the floor and y’all still complaining.

Clifford?!? We were 16-24 last year with Clifford at this point. We’re currently 19-21 with Borrego.

This team has terrible defensive talent. There are four players on the entire roster who bring positive defensive value and one of them is too situational to see regular minutes (Biz). There are a bunch of bad defenders in the regular rotation.

We ranked 19th in opp ppg last season under Clifford. We are 21st so far this season under Borrego.

I honestly think they wouldn't do that. i would let them keep the first and start the rebuild tank.

this team is really reminding me of Dunlap's. There was a ton of positivity at the start of that season as well, then other teams figured out the coaches tricks and they got consistently destroyed.

the effort is low as well. I expect Willy to be hopeless defensively now, but since when has MKG cruised?

can we give up on this crappy team now? do we really want to limp into the playoffs like this? whats the stuffing point.

the great "locker room and culture" is gone. every team member includes heat, including Kemba, he is our only good player but he is also our leader and isn't leading crap. I get he's frustrated, but I don't care, there is no excuse for lack of effort.

blow it up.

has the coach lost the team?
Clifford would have had died on the sidelines if we started like this.

ps. you may have noticed, I've been a huge Spencer Percy fan lately.

I can only imagine (as he blocked me) what pearls of wisdom Bonnell has given during this stretch.

you've got to make shots to win in this league. when Kemba and Lamb were shooting 40% from 3 we were winning, now they've both dropped to 35%

and on the other end you've got to defend. Sure this team's been weak on the road but I don't think its coincidence that once again the team is losing without Zeller (don't underestimate the importance of his screen setting to Kemba's play either)

by the end of this road trip we will be solidly in 10th place behind several inferior rosters. sad.
