First wall appearance for me too from memory, my one and only New Years resolution completed on the 2nd of January!
Not sure if it has been posted previously, but I have been watching a lot of Rick Beato's YouTube channel recently. I have zero practical musical knowledge or theory, so I don't understand a lot of the lingo he uses, but they are still pretty enjoyable. I mainly watch "What Makes This Song Great?" episodes at the moment.

Pacino deffo the MVP of this thread for me. I regularly pick up a couple of movies to watch from him. Glad to see him atop the Wall.

highly suggest searching youtube: fibonacci sequence in music
as a day trader in stocks i've grown a tremendous respect to using fibonacci's as support or resistance areas in price points. it's actually amazing to see fibonacci's in all aspects of life: art, nature, cars, stocks, architecture, etc.. it's everywhere and it's beautiful. i will forever continue to study golden ratio's, fibanaci's, algorithms, chart patterns, and other theory's.. so much can be attributed to freemason's and their use to incorporate it.

Thanks Constable...With that said, others (like Truth, SuperD, etc) have a more well rounded (film, television, literature and music) taste. So....I’m just a giant movie nerd. And all those posts
Let’s kick it back off...
Barry Jenkins follow up to Moonlight (If Beale St Could Talk) just bumped quite a few films down my list in 2018. It’s really a perfect movie. An incredibly emotional love story with a powerful social commentary.
If you haven’t seen Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, you’re missing possibly the best Spider-Man ever on screen. Bumblebee was also a great popcorn movie. Was so nostalgic that I literally felt like I was watching an 80’s film. So much more ET than an actual Transformers movie. This from someone who detests the Transformers franchise.
If you’re looking to catch a good one on Netflix The Night Comes For Us is a must see for action fans.

Did you enjoy Bandersnatch? I was a bit let down as a kid of the 90s who loved choose your own adventure books. I thought the plot was a bit underwhelming, that said, I think my friend and I got the "best" ending somehow, perhaps things would have been quite different if I had decided to work for the company.

I didn’t enjoy it all too much. And, although an 80’s kid, I too loved the choose your own adventure books. I don’t know if I was over hyped, buzzing a bit too much off the red vino or whatever the **** was the case. However, I felt like it plodded along. Some of the decisions that you/we had to make seemed so minor in the grand scheme of things. The excitement wore out quickly as we realized things weren’t escalating at the pace we would have liked. With the plot being underwhelming, like you mentioned, it just became a bit of a chore to get through it.
With that said, the technical aspect of it was outstanding and very promising for what the future holds if they course correct a bit. Maybe I should have opted to not work for the company

I do not like your Art, your Music, your Literature, your Media or your More.
Lionel Richie is better than anyone you put forward for your songs. You have nobody even close to Lionel Richie.
Wherever you are, there will be a Lionel Richie concert soon. You should go, and then you can throw all your other music in the trash where it belongs.

Hello.
I know everything you say is to be taken in jest and that’s your shtick, but the Commodores were amazing. On the solo front, My Love and You Are are also two of my guilty pleasures. So, as sarcastic as you were trying to be, the guys got some cred in my book.

Hello.
Humanity Still Producing New Art As Though Megadeth’s ‘Rust In Peace’ Doesn’t Already Exist
WASHINGTON—Saying that any further endeavors of technical skill and imagination were pointless, experts at the Smithsonian Institution reportedly questioned Monday why new art was still being produced after the pinnacle of aesthetic and creative potential was reached in 1990 with Megadeth’s fourth studio album, Rust In Peace. “As the unquestioned apex of the entire history of the creative arts, Rust In Peace is the finest and last necessary piece of human expression—but it’s almost as though current so-called artists are completely oblivious to Dave Mustaine’s blistering, transcendent guitar work on ‘Hangar 18,’” said Smithsonian curator of contemporary art Joanna Marsh, gesturing dismissively in the direction of a massive self-portrait by photorealist Chuck Close, completed in 2000. “It’s not just incredibly disrespectful to keep making art; in many ways, it’s actually quite sad. The deluded people churning out this worthless garbage just can’t seem to reconcile themselves to the fact that their pathetic little sculptures and films and novels and whatnot will always pale in comparison to the brilliantly inspired, heart-stopping tempo shift halfway through ‘Holy Wars… The Punishment Due.’” At press time, a spokesperson from the Centre Pompidou in Paris confirmed the museum’s plans to throw out the contents of an entire wing and leave a massive, pure white space where the track “Lucretia” will be played on loop at full volume.

Yes. The new Spider-Man was great. I almost choked up during the Stan Lee cameo. For real. Also in agreement about Bumblebee. Seeing the Generation 1 Transformers was awesome. Both movies were the best films for their respective franchises.

I hadn’t seen anyone mention it in the previous thread, but if you all haven’t seen Barry on hbo with Bill Hader, you’re missing a gem. Highly recommend it.
Also, saw a cool action/horror flick called Assasination Nation. If you want a gory flick with a good premise, check it out.

I highly recommend the Shudder app if you enjoy horror movies. They have a bunch of new Joe Bob Briggs content, which is the best stuff going.

Love that book - it’s been a goal the last few years for me to read the whole thing in one day around Christmas - haven’t done it yet
