While I was in there, deep in thought, the rage really took hold. 7 years later and we're still losing games on Vuc 20 footers. I don't want to trash the guy when he didn't have a bad game overall, but it's just insanity. Fournier didn't come up with any huge shots either. I'm so done with them.

The defense on Griffin was terrible. Inexplicable double teams, lazy double teams that didn't even succeed in getting the ball out of his hands, no double team at all when he had a mismatch that he easily scored on. Just no explanation for any of it.

14 easy points for Kennard, while not really making him play any defense. Fournier could have put more pressure on him, but didn't.

Drummond had 11 offensive rebounds. We got outrebounded 47-37.

7-13 free throw shooting by good/solid free throw shooters.

Ehh, to be honest lot of teams shoot mid range shots to win games, not because they want to, but because that's only shot/look they could get.
Griffin had buzzerbeater attemp from stepback 2.
Few nights ago Leonard and Beal both attemped mid range shots to win games.

Main issuse whole night long was Magic inability to match phyical strenght of Griffin. Isaac bounced off him like he was hitting brick wall, Gordon also couldn't match his strenght, every time Vuc tried to help he got burned by Drammond's ability to get on offensive glass.

Magic still get almost nothing from bench if it doesn't come from Ross.

We have to win games in regulation otherwise they are doomed. We just have no one that can get a good 2pt shot or create fouls so we have to settle for contested 3s in high pressure situation. Ross was on fire and got those 2 3s but they couldn't create anything else worthwhile and they had plenty of opportunities. Rebounding better would have helped avoid going to OT as well...

That's a really bad sign for us if we somehow make the playoffs. Playoff games are basically 48 minute OT games.

Magic can't really be serious playoff team as long as they have 4 players capable of scoring 10 points.
I'm going through some Magic rotation players:

SImmons 35% FG, 21% for 3
Iwundu 38% FG, 25% for 3
Briscoe/Grant/ Martin just big LOL

It's flat out amazing ( for all the wrong reasons) that Simmons gets 20 mpg by producing 7 ppg, 2 rpg and 2 apg as BALLHANDLER being 6'6. Literally, playing CJ Watson would be upgrade today.

They should make fans-only audition for bench player, probably would find somebody better than Iwundu...

I thought Simmons was injured, but looks like he's just getting benched now.

What’s amazing is how much better we’ve looked with our 3 worst players on the bench.

Orlando lost a road gam in overtime to an evenly matched team. Not a huge shock. All road games are tough.

I liked that Augustin plaid tough on Jackson.

The Magic must get more bench scoring. The super-human efforts of Ross are not enough.
