Play Rome Already

Post#21 » by Ranma » Sat Jan 19, 2019 5:31 am

I think we'd have a better chance at winning this game with Jerome Williams Robinson competing with Curry in a shooting duel than we do with Bradley giving him open looks and not compensating on the offensive end.

Motely in Need of Muscles

Post#25 » by Ranma » Sat Jan 19, 2019 5:40 am

As much as I like Motley's energy, as suspected, he's showing he doesn't have the strength to operate inside. Kid got outmuscled by a defender half a foot shorter than him.

I think it would be more fun for sure, don't think chances to win changes though, but I'll take the more fun

Run Plays for Rome

Post#27 » by Ranma » Sat Jan 19, 2019 5:43 am

We wasted Jerome Robinson out there. The kid is a shooter so we should be running plays to either get him open looks or have him draw attention to pass to an open cutter or shooter.

Self-Destruct Mode

Post#28 » by Wammy Giveaway » Sat Jan 19, 2019 5:46 am

Doc Rivers loves to self-destruct his own teams when things get so bad. He concedes emotionally too much.

I had a brain fart calling Robinson "Williams" but I think he does increase our chances albeit slightly. Bradley isn't giving us much on either side of the offensive and defensive ends. Robinson is at least an offensive threat and he couldn't do any worse than Bradley tonight defensively.

I'm not saying we have a good likelihood of winning either way, but as you said, it'd at least be more fun and do more for our team development.

Exhibit Bradley

Post#30 » by Ranma » Sat Jan 19, 2019 5:49 am

Bradley is 3-13 from the field, 0-4 from beyond the arc and has yet to get to the free-throw line, which is the norm for him. Does anybody really think Rome can't do any better?

Can't wait for the spin about how it's not Doc or Avery's fault. This team is going to miss the playoffs at this rate because of those two, plain and simple.

Couldn't watch tonight but saw us down only by 1 at the half. Gallo apparently injured. And with 4 minutes to go in the 4th, looked at the running box score--Steph was only plus+3 and only 3-11 from distance after shooting 57% the past 2 games.

Pat and Ty combined hadn't hit a bucket yet. Yet I see it all seems to be Avery's fault.

OK.

Off to Philadelphia. Seeyas all around. I think I'll enjoy missing the rest of this thread.

Tobias Harris at the 1st half; 7-10 FG(Unblocked), 3-3 FT, Total 20 PTS
Tobias Harris at the 2nd half; 0-8 FG(blocked 2 times), 8-9 FT, Total 8 PTS

The Guy just couldn't get a single bucket when we need most with no Lou and Gallo. He only had a single assist during 2nd half. Showed lots of hesitation and undecisiveness with the ball in his hands, deflecting to well guarded Pat or Avery to shoot!

The score is expected but Tobias shows he's way below all-star level. He ain't first two option and shouldn't be paid like that this summer. We better trade him while we can.

Watch the game.

It’s foolish to even try to defend what Bradley did on both ends tonight in 33 minutes of play. Don’t do it to yourself tonight save the gimmick for another game. Doc and Bradley were terrible.

He’s for sure not a max guy and what’s worse his effort on defense is non existent. He’s not playing hard and if you look at the confusion he had with his assignment it was clear he’s not locked in.
