See, this has been my issue with the board. If we were losing this game or lost in general, the game thread would have way more engagement. Big win and nothing for anyone to complain about and it's a ghost town. That's crazy...

Harris played 43 minutes.
Beverley played 42 minutes.
Bradley played 41 minutes.

How did Bradley managed to have a -2 net rating while Harris and Beverley were +18 and +13, respectively ?

An unexpected win, but a welcome one. We'll need this version of Tobias until Lou and/or Gallo return. Motley is legit, just throw him and Trez at opponents and watch them weep. Shai had an off shooting night and Jerome didn't even score, but I liked how they remained engaged and contributed. Bev looks damn good when he hits some shots and gets going, which also applies to the puzzle that is Avery Bradley. Still think we're tempting fate when having both of them on the floor for extended minutes.

LOL. In fairness, part of it was the Patriots game, but the Twitterverse--and the retweets here--was amazingly silent tonight. Gone were the calls for benching Bradley when he went for 15 in the first half and shut down DeRozan, which was perhaps the real story of the game along with Tobias showing up for the fourth quarter.

Gone were the grand pronouncements about Shai's PT when he goes 3-15 from the field.

I enjoy these twitter 'experts' because they come up with interesting stuff--and I retweet them too--but they're semi-professionals, not true authorities on the NBA.

I finally found a bootleg feed here in Philly and thoroughly enjoyed the second half. But some experts are only happy when they're proving they know better than the pros. It's a different kind of joy. :-P

Usually the starters and second units' plus-minus are more consistent internally but tonight we had a 20-2 run by a combination of our starters and bench versus a combo of theirs. If you were out there for it, that wild swing put your numbers up if you were a Clipper and down if you were a Spur.

Mostly everybody else on both sides played each other even, and were plus or minus 7 or less, the stares for both teams minus-4 or less.

Cool off already there were a bunch of games today and this game was early. On top of that I’m in here for a lot of the games threads and it’s not as active as you think until late game or the game is over

Here you go lol

Bradley was getting praise for his good play though inconsistent in the first half on both ends. DeMar went Toronto mode and went tunnel vision iso with little thought of passing. That’s a Bradley defender wet dream with no screens and little off the ball movement.

We will glance over him no showing in the 2nd half and unlike Doc when a player isn’t playing well Pop will bench them. Without DeMar out there and no scoring opportunities Bradley was mostly out there to be out there and lower his shooting percentage.

Tobias played like get was possessed with the spirit of Gallonari and it was amazing. SGA struggled with his shot but stayed engaged on defense.

You're certainly entitled to your opinions. I'm more interested in your facts to back them up.

Naw fam, this isn't just about this game, I've been paying attention to the game threads that we win and those we lose. When there isn't much to complain about, there isn't a lot of engagement. I wouldn't base my statement off of one game.

looking at our schedule, it does not seem out of reach to win 75% of our games until the allstar break, but we have win the games that we are expected to win. We have to beat Mavs, Bulls, Heat, Kings, Suns, Lakers, Hawks, Pistons, Hornets and Wolves, then it's ok to lose to Celtics, Raptors and Pacers.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
