Rams vs Patriots
http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25810519/super-bowl-liii-guide-predictions-big-questions-new-england-patriots-los-angeles-rams-2018-nfl-playoffs

The Rams needed overtime to get by the Saints, but they are headed to the Super Bowl. They will meet the Patriots in Atlanta in two weeks, who also needed overtime in a shootout against the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in the AFC title game.

Here's an early look at their matchup, complete with team breakdowns, X factors and big questions for the final game of the season. Plus, we have early predictions from our experts and ESPN's Football Power Index.

not sure why anyone had Pats as underdogs this year...Rams are too young on the Offense side of balls, Patriots will waltz to a superbowl win

Brady would be on a 5-game losing streak in the SB if the Seahawks and Falcons just handed the ball to their running backs in game-winning/securing situations.

Odds are against LA but I'm still rooting for them to make it happen.

Love that they're going to wear the old Uni's although I would have preferred them to bring these ones back instead.

Rams outcome will depend on what version of Todd Gurley shows up.

its the inevitability of the patriots winning, it might be close but no one is going to feel good about it

I’m with you on the jerseys. Why the hell do they keep going to the blue and yellows instead of the darker blue and gold?

Edit—also think pats win, I’m not too invested in this one either way so I am hoping for a close game AND great commercials

My guess is they want to let 10 years or so go by before using those as retro jerseys so that they feel more special to the fans.

Seems like I haven't seen these in a long while. I like their old blue and yellow ones. I hate the ones with the white horns on the helmets..especially having had such better ones before.

But it could be worse, like when the Seahawks changed their uniforms to whatever color they are now.

I love our current uniforms. But, I'd love to bring these back!

The Blue & Silver/Grey looks soooo damn good. Hopefully one day.

100% teal green vs those dope blue, silver and green ones? C'mon! Worst uni change EVER.

Yeah, well...I hated the blueberry (All-Blue) uniforms.

Image

Those we're hideous.

The team decided to re-brand when we we're moved to the NFC & the new stadium opened (2002). Which was a huge mistake. Those uniforms (2002-2011) we're way way worse than the current installment imo.

Yeah, I guess they have gotten better, but nothing worse than all one color (including pants) to me, especially kind of an in between off color.

blue and silver with some green was great, with the silver helmets contrasting with blue shirts, but matching pants...part of what makes the Cowboys and Packers nice. Saints nice contrast too when they have black tops with the gold helmets.

Anyway, Pats started their run in Belichick's second year as head coach after a lucky controversial tuck rule call (that, if fumble wasn't overturned, would have sealed the game for a Raiders victory) to help them win in the playoffs to get them into the SB to upset the high flying Rams who no one thought would lose....

...but now the upstart young team with the 2nd year coach with a lucky controversial non call IS the Rams, facing the Pats at the end of their dynasty.

While Warner seemingly drove for the game winning td before a last second Vinatieri FG to upset the Rams and start their dynasty, it's time for the new era Rams to give a little payback.
