Dangerous play by ZaZa. Get this dude out the league already.

In fairness, it’s hard for him to maneuver with that head.

There's a Gary Payton Jr. and a Gary Payton II. That's the story. I don't think Gary Jr. is a player. He is from a different mother. Gary II is called the "mitten".

Ducler started the GT before I could.

Guess it made no difference. Pistons are sleeping today.

Always feels like Pachulia plays with 8 fouls to give.

That Gary Payton is the first awful trade I remember EG making, I believe it was Ray Allen and a first for Gary Payton and Desmond Mason.

His college stats were phenomenal. However, he was 23 or 24 years old and still in NCAAs.

His G league stats, also stat-stuffed.

--GPII, Mcrae, Randle, Robinso. Dekker, and Bryant are ALL POSITIVE ADDITIONS. The energy and athleticism that the Wizards have now is much better!

--From the box score I see Satoransky led the team in MINUTES at 38.

Washington not only will make the playoffs, they also will be a tough out. They are BETTER THAN BEFORE...

Period.

I didn't realize there was a game. Looks like the Wizards led from start to finish. Double digit lead for the final 3 quarters. Nice job team!

Yes. At that same time Sam Cassell was better than aged Gary Payton.

Ray Allen was about to become a legend after Seattle. Titles with Boston and IIRC Miami followed.

I'm liking the team again, now. So much youthful enthusiasm and guys scratching and clawing to get good deals--this is what wins BECAUSE...much as I hate to give EG any credit...having Ariza and Green as solid vets really helps.

Beal, Porter, and Sato are pure effort ballers. Bryant is quite a find.

Wow...didn't see this coming.

(No, EG won't be replaced. Accept it.)

EG's lousy management might be salvaged if we can end up trading Morris and Ariza at the deadline for $6M in cap relief and a couple of 2nd round picks, and still make the playoffs.

Morris for Thabo plus Ariza for KCP and two 2nd round picks should do the trick. I'd prefer to wait until the Trade Deadline though. Ride Ariza for as long as we can.

If they beat Golden State, there is zero chance of any significant trades. Maybe Morris. They are all in but I'm not. Ariza has been a nice addition but he's not coming back next season for the MLE or whatever we can afford. So I guess get used to the status quo next year and a one-and-done first-round exit. Now if we started the year with Ariza (without some others) with or without Wall, maybe this would be a different story and we'd be talking about trying to get in the top 4. A healthy Otto doesn't hurt either, whether he's starting or coming off the bench.

Yup.

All 8 more games. Ariza raised his stock today with great stats in another win. Seven of the last 10 games are wins.

I might be wrong about this, but NO TEAM IN THE EAST IS A LOCK.

Boston is crapping on themselves. Too many egos. Milwaukee Bucks are vulnerable. Toronto is a team that can be beaten by the Wizards.

If Washington makes the playoffs Bradley Beal will be a star for ratings. The way Satoransky plays is sustainable. Otto Porter is probably going to gain strength and finish strong.

I'm only worried about the return of Howard and Morris. I wish both were somehow not on this team.

Even Ian Mahinmi is suddenly a non-liability.

Very good college player. Don't know why he's never had a real shot in the league.

Lighten up Francis. They still in 10th seed. Lets see how they play on the road where they are complete trash.
