It's really too bad that digging up old threads is frowned upon around here. There would be a lot less stupidity and over reaction around here if people were called out more often on their hot takes and uninformed posts. So much histrionics is allowed around here. A little shaming would go a long way.

I wanted skal at 9 and was definitely mad we didn’t get him at 27. Even after their 2nd years I still thought skal would end up better than Pascal, I was completely wrong and I’m usually good with draft prognostications

I honestly don't remember how I felt about the Raps drafting Siakam. Probably thought "who?". But I clearly remember Skal having a couple games when I wished we had drafted him. Think he must have a nice looking shot or something. Anyway glad Masai drafted Siakam. Wish we had more picks.

Like every RealGM thread there are some quality posts drowned out by the emotional overreactions. The posters calling out Masai for being bad at drafting for passing on Deyonta Davis are the best.

I dunno. Is this the pattern no matter the year;

1st page or so information and memes and some positivity
Team negative and people taking like they know more than either the gm, coach or anyone
Hot takes and team negative in droves
A few informed posts and discussion
A page or five of thread jacking about the yearly running narrative
A few posts of questions and real discussion
Degradation into complete argument and chaos.

Sprinkle liberally with stereotyping if of another nationality, if not add comments about weight or iq, possibly invent a weird body movement or shooting hitch, maybe add old ideas from years ago, if all else fails and there’s nothing to insult, talk about tanking.
