I live in Charlotte, NC (I've gone to a Suns game in Orlando and Charlotte this year). Booker winked at me :-D

I'm going with a friend to Vegas/Grand Canyon/and Phoenix (for a Suns game against the Pels).
He leaves that Saturday and I have the Sunday and Monday left.

I played a ton of AAU and high school ball growing up. I also had a small opportunity in college, but stopped because there was no future in it and I was burned out after 15+ years of it being pretty much my only sport. I don't think I touched a basketball for 2 years after that though.

Since then it's been inconsistent. I'll have periods where I play a lot, and others where I don't touch a ball for a few months. Usually depends on if I'm able to find a consistent group to play. I don't mind playing pick-up with randoms, but I don't actively seek out games at the park or gym. I probably don't look like I'd be any good (average height, thin white dude), so it takes time at the beginning to make some plays and earn trust before I start seeing much of the ball. Sometimes it just ends up being a lot of me playing defense though lol which gets annoying.

I'll play any format, but full court 5s is by far my favorite. I like to get out and run, and obviously it feels the closest to a real game. I don't like 2s and 3s much though, there's way too much space and it leads to a wide open lay-up or jump shot almost any time you beat your man 1 on 1.
