D’Angelo Russell.
Makes all the sense in the world.
We would probably need to offer a max, and even then Nets might match.

Kinda taking a shot at Frank since we could of had Mitchell if we didn't pass him up for Frank in the draft.

That would be such a knicks to do.

If we did go in that direction - throwing money at a one year wonder (we're one year removed from him looking like a bust) - I hope we would look at a reasonable offer or at most a one year audition offer with a TO for the 2nd year. Both only if we strike out elsewhere.

he's looked AWESOME of late. he looks like he's put it together and has found a perfect match in kenny atkinson. i'm really glad for the nets, to be honest. i have nothing but respect for this against all odds resurgence.

You haven’t been watching him much if that’s your take. It’s not Mudiay with his I-think-I-can streaky finishing ability making baby steps improvements.
He’s playing fluidly and smoothly. Looks the part of a star. Not a reclamation project. He’s what, 22?
Eventually we’ll learn that these kids aren’t gonna always hit the ground running. It’s our mistake to pigeonhole dudes when they’re not even old enough to drink. He made a huge mistake with the Swaggy P thing and he’s working hard to shake the bad teammate label.
And the work is paying off. It’s not a “typical Knicks” move at all.
