YOUR Washington Bullets are 20-26 and will probably be in tank mode once they hit the road!

This lottery season continues with a matchup against the reigning 2-time defending NBA Champions. Steph Curry had a 50 point game in Oakland back in October vs. these Bullets. I'm anticipating another crazy shooting expedition tonight as that's been the achilles heel for the Wiz all year long.

Boogie Cousins is back and has performed well in the couple games he has played. The Warriors smell the 3-peat and will be eating good in DC...

Klay Thompson is cooking in January, maybe if somebody Tonya's one of the three Washington has a shot.

The Warriors have only the flukey loss agains the Rockets in January and they're going to want to start their east coast trip off on the right foot.

Only question to me is whether Washington will be able to keep it respectable in the first half.

The Warriors have a decided talent advantage, literally, at every position (well, I guess Beal and Thompson are close).

Scary stuff. Varsity vs. JV.

Well, at least Otto Porter has the advantage at backup PF! :D

Trap game... Washington's bound to look past GS.

Actually, all Washington needs to do is double team each player on GS.

Hoping for a signature Otto Porter game. something like 28 points on 5-7 from 3, 11 rebounds, 5 assists. We are somewhat built to defend them with our switchability at the 1-4. I think it will be a good game.

Beal is the more efficient scorer on higher usage. Better playmaker/passer, and is a similar defender.
This while being 3 years younger and the 1st/2nd option vs being the 3rd option.
BPM/RPM, TS, VORP, TRB%, AST%, WS, PER... You name it, Beal is better

They are gonna run rough shot on us early.

I'd attack DMC in PnR on every damn possession. Live him and draymond wide open, if you are going to let anyone take a jumper, let it be them. I'd probably try to post Beal, Tomas and Green on Curry too, see if you can wear him down. Save for Durant none of their guys are athletic enough to beat you off the dribble so hopefully they can at least stay in front of their man.

Its still pretty absurd Porter isn't starting. J. Green hasn't been particularly good lately.

Agreed.

I really Otto with the 2nd unit, but that doesn't mean he can't also start. Start him, send him to the bench early, and then bring him back in when Beal sits.

Ehhh, i dont disagree... but as long as he is playing 30 MPG and shooting the ball, I dont care.
Plus, we dont know how internal discussions go with how players prefer to play.

Otto isnt really good at imposing his will and "Setting the tone". Off the bench, he gets to watch the first 5-6 minutes and see what the team needs and how he can be effective.

Maybe playing for 5-6 minutes and then sitting until the early 2nd doesnt work for him as well physically. I love Brad & Bryant with their energy and offense along with Sato and Ariz. Then Ian and Otto come in and you really see the defense pick up. Its working...

Otto led the team last game in FGA's, so regardless of whethe he starts, I'm fine if he keeps that up. And it might be wise to limit him to 30 to 32 minutes a game to keep him healthy. The man winces in pain so much, I'm thinking an ex girl-friend of his got a voodoo doll and sticks it every game.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Coming of a foul for the last shot of the quarter you've got Beal inbounding and ball action on a side with Randle, Dekker and Brown?

How does that make sense.

How many quarters isn't it going to take Brooks to make the defensive adjustment?

Wizards are way too anxious defending the three point line and getting cut apart inside.
