At least Batum is still playing hard b/c he doesn't want to be traded to Detroit/Memphis for some reason. Too bad aggressive Batum = full (Please Use More Appropriate Word) Batum in the 4th quarter.

yikes

We did get the coasting version of Kemba since his All-Star spot is solidified. He got fouled a ton with no calls also. I don’t think Kemba has ever had a good game following being announced to the ASG lol.

I hope he don't turn into coasting Kemba next year when we pay him the big contract cause this team would be unwatchble with coasting kemba and coasting batum.

Kemba wasn’t really trying. He had 4 shot attempts the entire 1st half. No doubt Bledsoe and Brogdon were playing tenacious defense because they wanted to get the best of the ASG starting guard but he easily could’ve broke them down playing him tight like that. He just wasn’t into it.

Kemba should waited till monday to coast cause this win would been good and a statement win for us save the coast vs the knicks.

dude was getting chased 4 feet behind the 3pt line in the 2nd quarter.... when other guards don't attack consistently, then it means defenses have no reason to stop

I don't know if it was that or if it was the fact that we didn't really need Kemba to put a lead on them and Kemba didn't want to mess up that rhythm.

If we don’t/can’t put any talent around him that’s very likely because he’ll only be re-signing for the max money, not the opportunity to win anything meaningful.

It’s like when you see players take their game to another level when they’re playing with LeBron compared to the losing team they came from. It’s the motivation of knowing that you’re playing for something bigger than a check that’s already guaranteed.

This was my thought, we were clicking and so Kemba let it ride. I had no problem with Kemba through Q3, and honestly even in Q4 he wasn't the real problem.
