Let's hope Jokic is ready to make people regret his suspension.
Let's hope Murray isn't hurting too much.
Let's hope another starter has a good game.
Let's hope our bench has a couple of players that have good games.

Joel Embiid is hurt?
I'm sure Jamal Murray is going to try his hardest to play in this game but probably won't. He's a tough guy, man. He's battling numerous injuries.

This is Wilson Chandler's first game back in Denver if I'm not mistaken. I wonder if he'll receive a warm reception from the Nugs crowd...(hope he does).
Read a lot of negative posts about him especially during the latter part of his stint with Denver, but I actually liked Chandler.

If Murray has some injury issue, he should pause this game, Sixers coming with a white flag in Denver anyway (decision to rest Embiid).

Jokic might post career high in points tonight.

Nah... if everything goes as should tonight, Jokic will not playing a single minute in the 4th quarter

Jokic should play last 3 minutes when result is still active (+14) to achieve historic 30+20+10+ triple-double. He was short just two rebounds.

It's incredible that Jokic can have a game like this and it not even seem like a big deal. We're way too spoiled.

I am convinced Barton needs to go, just having him with the ball in his hands changes the whole flow of the offense as he wants guys to spot up while the rest of the offense is predicated on off the ball movement especially with the starters.
Millsap looks bad, I don't know if he is injured or what but he needs to take some time off until he remembers how to play.
I noticed last night that Juancho and Beasley both play much worse when Barton is on the court with them, I think it is the spot up versus ball movement as they both look better when Barton is off the court.
Jokic and his monster game are the only reason we won this game, we need better fits at SF and PF.

Since Embiid wasn't playing just call it a w (not W). I wonder what Nuggets record will be in next two weeks. At Memphis, at NO, home against Rockets, at Sotta, at Detroit, at Brooklyn, at Phily and home good bye to Wade. It could end up anywhere between 6-2 and 3-5.

I agree with you about Barton current impact on Denver game, but since his comeback and in next 10 days (until 2019 trade-deadline) I'm very happy every time to see Barton gets a lion share in Nuggets offense, which should recover and pump his trade value. If we do not trade him, I'm afraid we have a big problem not just now, but in the next 3 years too, with a player incompatible with Denver's winning formula offense.
And I wouldn't take seriously problems we have yesterday vs Sixers. Guys simply didn't play defense in the first half knowing they will beat Philly without Embiid and Butler anyway, so Sixers scored 68pts in the 1st half (just 42 in 2nd).

He's a ball hog, ruined many games last season, one of the reasons Denver missed post season.

I wouldn't compare it with last season where, as small forward and as backup-guard both, W.Barton was a clearly better option than W.Chandler, R.Jefferson, Devin Harris, E.Mudiay, and *injured* Juancho. Can we say the same now compared him with Beasley, Morris, Juancho, especially in terms of efficiency and compatibility with unique PointCenter-run offense, not even mention MPJ which we expecting since next season? And last season we paid him $3.5M per season to make team better but since this season $13.5M to make team worse! There are several teams in NBA where he can be worth that contract and salary, but not in Denver, for sure. I'm really unhappy to see that there is still no rumors which include Nuggets in trade-deadline talks.

I'll just say that Barton playing strictly SF or SG isn't terrible (a bit undersized at SF) but his defense is less than adequate and when he tries to play point anything or he's terrible and his ability at ISO-ball hurts the team's game. I've said it before and I believe it, there are many teams in the NBA where he would fit just fine but Denver isn't really one of them, especially as a starter. He could be a nice 15-20 mpg bench player but he's overpaid for that.

The only thing Barton has done is prove that he is healthy. Unlike fans most front offices have scouting books and numbers on every player in the NBA since they were teenagers. These teams know what their value is and are not going to overpay based on 3 games, the ones that make snap decisions usually do not last very long at all.
The thing about it is that our front office and coaching staff seem to be sold on Barton and Craig both. Even if it has been obvious to all of us that Barton is a bad fit, until the front office accepts it he is here. I think if they were to trade him that he has a lot of value especially on his contract which is small for a starting SG.

Honestly, this was Philly without 2 of their best players and the rest are bench end players. We should've been blowing this team out way earlier.
The defense is awful and I am concerned about the rotations. Facts, we're not a good defensive team without Millsap in the lineup. We're also not a good defensive team with Craig in the lineup. Craig has seemingly replaced him as the defensive specialist guy (Millsap is benched for those 1 off defensive subs now). I am very concerned about Craig getting high 30 minutes. We are going to lose in the first round if Craig is playing 35 mins+ and launching 5 threes a game.
