I'm just looking for a solid performance tomorrow evening. This is a true toss up game and one where OKC can measure themselves against one of the NBA's elite teams.

The perimeter defense of the wing players is going to have to be on point against the Bucks because with Brook Lopez's range Steven Adams won't be able to patrol the paint as much to help clean up defensive mistakes.

We have no answer for Greek Freak so I'm not even going to bother with the what ifs. He's one of those guys like KD who you just have to hope they miss more shots than they make.

My prediction is Bucks 116, OKC 111.

I actually think, if Russ continues his uprise, we match well with them.
Let Giannis shot anything from mid range and up, and I'm actually fine with Lopez shoting from 3p land as much as he likes, just stop their dribble penetration, they feast in the paint. I'd even do Adams on Giannis, doing a zone around the paint ...

Grant+Adams will make Giannis work. We need to win this tomorrow to build some confidence that we can handle the best teams, especially at home. OKC 117, Bucks 115.

538 gives us a 65 % to win. I hope we'll do. Their bench units might destroy ours though.

I don't think I've ever seen OKC play zone. I really haven't seen much of it in the NBA aside from when Miami pulls it out from time to time.

They really don't have a ton of talent coming off their bench but their bench is better at holding their own and not hemorrhaging leads. Basically they do a better job at buying time for their starters.

I don't see how they came up with 65%. Bucks literally do everything better than us, including defense now. Yeah it's home, but I can't see how this isn't a toss up at best.

Would be sweet to win this. No doubt they're going to give it their all. Should be fun.

Disagree tbh, I think the trio of PG/Grant/Adams is kind of a tough matchup for him. With defending Giannis it's not a one-man job but a mix of like 2-3 long/athletic forwards + a big, strong defensive C, and hoping the Bucks shooters miss. OKC has that personnel imo.

Not sure grant is strong enough. Not sure if Adams is fast enough. If we could create a hybrid of the two on steroids, then maybe.

Agree with you. It's not a bad match up for us but if you guys are hot from 3 then we are screwed. And Schroeder against Hill is going to be ugly for us.

And Giannis isn't like Durant who can score from everywhere. It's still easier on a team game plan to defend on Giannis even if he's a beast.

Giannis is amazing but the best news is that you don’t have to worry about him drilling a million 3s. It allows the defense to sag off him just a bit. It doesn’t help a ton, but it’s still a nice small side benefit

Yikes this will be a tough matchup. Steve-O will be at the three point line as long as Lopez is on the floor.
I cringe to think of Jerami guarding Giannis, but PG has to guard Middleton to avoid foul trouble and save energy.
Ferg will do fine against Brogdon.

The key will be how much the bench gets lit up when Milwaukee mix and matches the starters and bench. Donovan better stick to his stagger rotation he's started using recently because any all bench lineup for OKC will be obliterated. Milwaukee will mix and match their guys.

Geez, you guys are talking like 1996 Chicago Bulls with Michael Jordan personaly are coming to town. Are Bucks good? Sure they are, but so is OKC. They have Giannis, but so what? OKC has George and Westbrook...

Was that a step back three attempt by grant?

Wow great defense by Ferguson on Giannis! That’s freakin impressive.
