5 TOs, though. But 2-to-1 will do on a team with no true PG.

It's been a game by game thing from what I've seen. He had some lazy passes that led to turnovers before he was pulled and to Doc's credit, the unit that finished the game was playing pretty well and playing good defensively so they finished the game out.

Pat Bev's taking his minutes and it's hard to argue he shouldn't. Pat was a team-high plus+20 and Shai was minus-2. [Motley at minus-4 and Rome at minus-6 were the only other Clippers in the red.]

[Bradley was plus+14, in case you we're wondering. And you were, LOL.]

Lot of that run was the bad turnovers and sloppy pick and rolls with Lou. Jerome didn’t shoot well but didn’t see any of the young guys play terribly

The rooks were fine, only slightly in the minus. Shai had 17 points and I still believe in Rome even if he had a bad shooting day. But we saw a substantive difference between playing 2 rookies in the backcourt and playing NBA defense first-teamers Pat and Bev. The lead went down to 5 with the rooks out there and then we won by 16 going away once the adults came back in.

A teachable moment, I believe they call it these days. There's a reason Doc does what he does, and you just saw it tonight.
