Boylen can easily fix that lol.

Im still in favor of netting Porter, I think he's a solid glue guy that can play the small ball PF. Young enough to run with our crew years down the line. Not like we are signing anyone significant next two years.

You want to pay a glue guy $27 million? There is zero chance we trade for Porter even if he was for free.

How many times are we going to trade for cash considerations, all the while barely hitting the salary floor? Yeah I wouldnt care if Jerry pays him 27 mil for the next two years. KD running through that door?

You don't acquire vastly overpaid players just because you can't sign a superstar.

You also dont just sit around 10 years waiting for one to fall in your lap while hoarding cash. It's two years and we aren't going anywhere.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong.

Seems like rebuilding isn't for you then. It's gonna long rough ride. 2 years is nothing really.

Problem with trading Dunn is we then have no PG or even backup PG.

Dunn for Mikal Bridges?

Dunn and Portis for TJ Warren?

Help the Suns win and insure our tank?

Play Zach and Blakeney at PG. Problem solved. What does it matter this season?

If the Suns were dense enough to do Bridges for Dunn, you jump all over that, like yesterday.

Any way Utah would do Favors/Grayson Allen for Parker?

Getting back a pick with Porter who is 25 yrs old actually wouldn't hurt the rebuild, unless Jerry would rather trade for more cash considerations.

He won't help it either. If he was any where near worth his contract he wouldn't be on market. It's not like Washington is a free agent destination either.

Has nothing to do with why he's on the market and I think you know that. Washington has made a few boneheaded deals, we can take advantage of that. Any way, we've gone back and forth over this. We both know were each other stands. I'll leave it at that.

Well I said it before he would off been a good addition. Hes still young and has potential unlike Felicio.

Dunn and Parker both need to be traded. They are just painful to watch. Parker can score but that is about it. Dunn is just plain awful. Bad decision maker and can't shoot.

Parker doesn't need to be traded. Bulls can just walk away from him at the end of the season.

AD will be Laker. I think Bulls could trade #1 option like 2021 at the earliest, it’s two more seasons success like this one.

Lakers would probably love to trade Ball, Ingram, and Kuzma to get Davis but that probably doesn't entice the Pelicans because Ball plays the same position as Holiday and has low trade value anyway. If I'm the Bulls, I jump in and offer Lavine to the Pelicans for Ball and Kuzma (you also take back KCP for salary)

So here's the final trade

To Chicago - Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, KCP
To LA - Anthony Davis, Ian Clark, Kenrich Williams
To New Orleans: Zach Lavine, Brandon Ingram, Bobby Portis, Javale McGee

(Bulls buyout Anthony, who signs in LA)

Bulls follow that up by trading Dunn+Blakeney to Philly for Fultz.

Your rest of the year team

Ball / Fultz / Archi
KCP / Atkins
Kuzma / Selden
Lauri / Parker
Lopez / Felicio

You lose a ton of games but you figure out stuff on Atkins, etc. You hope to hit on Zion but assume you miss and settle for the Barrett/Reddish/Morant group. You're betting Ball looks better in terms of passing and playmaking when he was the primary ball handler than this year and you obviously are hoping Fultz is just a mental thing. You don't really know what Kuzma is yet in terms of he can be a full-time 3 but at the very least you have more time than Bobby's impending FA if he's just a great scorer off the bench as a 4. You also have a ton of cap space to make a run at a wing (not saying you are trying to get a star, just a solid two way guy who might be too expensive ala Brogdon).

So are we just going to let Portis walk in the summer? Re-sign him to a regrettable deal?

Where are the trade rumors?

I actually prefer we try to make a deal that nets us Anthony Davis & Mike Conley. I actually think there is a deal to be had.

Bulls Get: Conley, Davis, Etuan Moore, Omri Casspi, & Ivan Rabb
Bulls Trade: Lauri, Parker, Lopez, Portis, Dunn, Valentine, Felicio, & 2019 un-protected 1st.

Memphis Get: Lopez, Dunn, Portis, Valentine
Memphis Trades: Conley, Casspi, & Rabb

New Orleans Gets: Otto Porter Jr, Lauri, & Bulls un-protected 2019 1st rd pick.
Memphis Trades: Davis & Moore

Washington Gets: Parker & Felicio
Washington Trades: Porter Jr.

Return to Chicago Bulls
