How about Lee, THJ and Burke for Brandon Knight, Gordon and a 2RP. We get rid of one year of THJ's salary and they get two players who would fit in and are outperforming whom they have now. If they want Vonleh instead, we can do that too.

This doesn't help the clearing space for the off-season at all.

Though I doubt any game changers will sign here, priority should be set at clearing enough for at least one max spot. If through some miracle we actually sign somebody, perhaps we can hope for a second player to do something similar to Chris Paul when he decided to join Houston.

"Pelicans Want Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Ivica Zubac, 1st Round Pick For Anthony Davis"

If I'm the Lakers I do this in a second.

Are we allowed to include "cash" in a deal for AD? Can Dolan pay the Pelicans $100 million as part of the deal?

The more I thought all day long I say screw giving up assets and just reload .... trading Knox, 2019 pk, frank , Mitchell, is a no no when we can have say Durant with all those pieces to grow with ... I’m sorry Anthony Davis you are a great Great player but you will have to wait for the big apple ....

Fwi... Davis has a bigger injury history then KP

For AD the Pels ask for Knox, Mitch and Trier plus the 1st rounder this draft unprotected..... what. do. you. do!
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

Oooook buddy, let's save this and talk by the end of the year. Also I like Zo since his fresh year at Ari, but Zo and Knox, have no position and can't play defense in the nba so far..... Rob is the best out the bunch but he can't stay on the court and out of foul trouble.

Porzingis, AD & KD (especially in the East) > Porzingis, no guarantee a player like KD comes and our current crop + our 1st (who might not even be Zion). Y’all gotta get real and stop overvaluing prospects on a 10 win team.

Knicks have a chance to take the Celtic Big 3 route.
Paul Pierce was often hurt and questioning his future in Boston the year they had one of the worst records (Sounds like someone we know?).
Weeks after the season in the draft, they acquired KG & Ray Allen. Rest is history.

Anyway, I’m revising the 3 team deal I proposed almost 2 months ago for the wise cracks.

Knicks get - Anthony Davis

Pelicans get - Markelle Fultz, Frank Ntilikina, Kevin Knox, Alonzo Trier, Wilson Chandler, unprotected 2019 1st rd pick via Knicks, top 3 protected 2021 pick via Knicks

Sixers get - Tim Hardaway Jr & Noah Vonleah

We actually save cap money in deal. Could cut Lance in offseason & find taker for Lee, if not then stretch him.
Either way, we’d have enough to bring KD in the fold.
KD doesn’t want to play in NY with AD & KP? Cool, let’s call up Klay to be that sharp shooting threat on the perimeter while AD & KP are killing down low.

Keep Mudiay.

NO should feel fine doing this deal before deadline because 1) AD still dealing with an injury and we could have a handshake type deal that we’ll keep him out most games this season & 2) even with AD back, who else scoring on Knicks with Knox, Tim, Vonleah & Trier trades? Pels could feel confident in top pick chances.

Sixers need a shooter, Fultz isn’t doing anything for them and Vonleah would be a cherry on top for them and their post season push.

Philly fan here (no interest in THJ) would you all be looking to move Vonleh? Philly could use a back up 4/5 (really we want Dedmon, but probably wouldn't give a first for him IMO).

Was wondering if 2 late 1sts this year, or one this year and one next would be enough to move him? (Kormaz for salary figure, who is a pretty decent shooting guard, but we didn't pick up his option, so keeping him around will be hard unless he gets no good offers.

I think we'd probably do that.

2 late first rounders for Vonleh? Yes, I'd do that in a second lol

I would hope that we'd do that.
