I think Philly should just offer Ben Simmons, The Miami 2021 first, Their own first, Fultz, and salary filler, and really own the East. AD, Embid, Butler pretty good 3.

Embiid/AD is a terrible match though. They're both 5s in the NBA.

Reports saying the Knicks could be in play as well, their 2019 first round pick is VERY valuable. Could potentially land NOLA Zion or RJ. If I'm NOLA I value that pick over guys like Tatum or Ingram. Potentially getting Zion Williamson, who is the best athlete I've seen in a LONG time, is very risky, but it could work out in the long run.

Maybe we could get some other star, someone not like Davis, idk Gasol for a reduced price? Maybe Beal comes into play again soon? We have no chance at getting AD.

You also think Lakers have enough ? Funny report came out they want to trade forms super star and rhe Davis requests a trade .tbh Lakers don't have enough and I swe him coming to the east.

The problem for NO is when players do something like this with their contract running out they can't get full value back. It's gonna be a bidding war between a very small number of teams that are on AD's list.

It's a 2 team bidding war between the Lakers and Celtics.

I've seen this coming for awhile now...and I also believe AD wants to be on the Lakers but he didn't want to specifically state that since the Pelicans would have more leverage against the Lakers. I'm just hoping the Pelicans are petty like the Spurs and send him to Canada out of spite while still getting a decent return.

I don't think the Pelicans can afford to wait to trade him.

Knicks would have to trade at the draft. Trading for AD now would make their team better and make the pick worse.

Beal was a -29 last night. Fools gold.
Gasol ain't worth the price tag and Serge can't play PF.

Honestly we have to do this. Worst case Kawhi still leaves in the offseason, we trade AD to the Celtics for Tatum Brown and Picks, and begin our rebuild. There is absolutely NOTHING for us to lose here.

Now the Pelicans just have to love our package of JV, SIakam , 2 of Fvv, Powell, Delon, OG and a lottery protected 1st in 2021 that convert to 2 2nd rounders if not conveyed. Keep our draft picks by giving more of our current young players to ensure

We could also be a landing spot for all the buyout candidates to help boster our bench.

Jayson Tatum isn't a good enough piece to tempt them to take that kind of risk, that's for sure.

Davis lands in the east I think. Lakers should have to overpay at this point and by a lot.

NOP should treat the Lakers like the SAS did treated them, when LAL started making the Leonard matter worse. I truly hope NOP doesn’t even entertain an LAL offer.

Reports saying they're interested. I know you're not a fan of Beal, but he's had big playoff games, if he's fools gold, then so is Kyle Lowry. We don't know Gasol's price tag yet, he's older and I don't think Memphis will have much leverage.

You only have a 15% chance of having your ping pong drawn first now. Nobody will value it as high as a sure thing.

That's pretty ****, but at least it removes the tanking incentive. They could trade at the draft I suppose.

This reminds me of the Kawhi situation....right now all the media is talking about Celtics, Lakers, Knicks...no one is talking about the Raptors potentially trading for AD. The Pelicans are most likely trading AD to the East, just like the Spurs & Timberwolves did.
