Lowry, JV, OG, Delon, and Siakim to the Pelicans for AD and Jrue Holiday. Works in the trade checker.

Pelicans get an All-Star (though declining), a potential All-Star in Siakim, young prospects in Delon and OG, and JV (mainly for salary, but still a usable player). Raptors basically lose all their depth, but whatever.

I don't see us having the kind of offer that would entice them to make a deal.

IMHO there is virtually no chance that they do a deal before the off-season because adding the Celtics into the mix automatically boosts the expected return.

This is a franchise-defining moment for them, similar to the Melo in Denver situation. I'd hold out for Boston no matter how awkward it gets and no matter how much it appears AD doesn't want to go there. But that's easier said than done and they have a terrible GM.

That remains a high stake gamble, because Hank is wrong about the offers being automatically better this offseason.

Every team that isn't the Lakers or the Celtics is far more motivated to get AD now, where you get to have him for two years, or flip him this offseason to recoup some value. I mean, I'd be ready to make a Nets like offer just because of that extra year. Something I wouldn't do this offseason.

If you wait for the offseason, you're banking on only the Celtics and Lakers outbidding themselves. And by that point there may be enough collusion happening that the offers don't materialize and you're left with a poo-poo platter.

lol Chris Haynes. is this the same guy saying that there was no way Kawhi would report to Toronto?

Regarding team preferences, Boston is not a top target for Davis, sources said. There’s a growing belief of uncertainty that Kyrie Irving will not re-sign with Boston, sources said, even though he vowed to do so at the beginning of the season.

Like Kawhi, I'm betting on AD getting shipped to a mystery team that nobody is taking about. Everyone is too focused on the big markets.

The Lakers best offer can be beat by a few teams, plus New Orleans might not even want to deal with them out of spite. Boston can't deal for him until the offseason (unless they move Kyrie) and if AD really wanted to go there he would've kept his mouth shut until the offseason when BOS could trade for him.

He's going to get traded to a team like Denver.

ya but the perceived value of shipping out disgruntled stars to Canada rather than LA is greater than you think.

Can't trade Lowry. Don't want FVV starting... Gotta do JV OG, Pascal, and maybe Delon and picks... The chance of Lowry Leonard, Davis. Plus Pelicans wouldn't want an aging overpaid Lowry..

he's not that disgruntled. AD said he'll play to the of the season in a NOP uniform and let the NOP have a chance to trade him now or trade him later.

Please god! If we could somehow convince them to take Lowry as well it would be a glorious day in raptor land.

I dont care about future if we get two years of Davis. This means at least Kawhi resigns with us on a 1+1 deal at a minimum until Lowry and Davis are free agents.

This means you get this year and next year to make a serious run for a championship.

Trade Siakim, Fred, JV, OG plus 2021 First and even 2023 First. I don’t care this is a once in a lifetime chance!

Lowry, Kawhi, Davis .... FAP

jheez thats alot to give, that could be the best offer any1 can give em no? for sure thats better than lonzo, kuzma, zubak, and a 1st. we are giving 2 firsts, og + siakam, and jv + fvv on top of that

Well that would be pretty disappointing even though I know AD probably ends up a Laker in the end.

Does Ingram really have much perceived value still? If the best player they are getting is Lonzo Ball that seems like a crappy deal. I'd insist on Kuzma or else it is a non-starter.
