I don't know if we can even offer firsts at this point, but Adams + Ferg + FRP sounds decent. Not sure if that's better than the assumed Lakers offer of Ingram + Lonzo + Kuzma.

I love Adams to death but you have to do that trade if it's an option. Sam is a diligent GM so he'll kick the tires. It wouldn't be the first time he stole a disgruntled star from under the Laker's nose.

Several teams told ESPN that they're already weighing the possibility of making offers for Davis, including contenders who'd be willing to use Davis to chase a championship this season and perhaps recoup assets lost in a trade to New Orleans by flipping Davis at auction after the season -- or keeping him into the final year of his contract.

I mean if you are going to be all in this year with tax and then dump this summer to get under tax next year...there are worse plans.

It would be a rental. He's not resigning in OKC, too many things point towards LA and it's not like the PG situation since AD has LBJ's agent. I don't know if you give up Adams plus Ferg for a 4-5 month rental. You'd have to flip him next season and you probably don't get assets back comparable to Adams/Ferg.

Yeah it gives us a better chance this year, but it may kill us the next. Whereas Adams/Ferg are developing and could help us remain contenders for 2-3 more seasons with a smaller trade to help us at the 4. Adams contract being what it is, is what makes me even consider doing this trade, but a 4 month rental for Ferg and him is too much.

Adams+Pat+Diallo I would do but it wouldn't be enough. And if you do Adams+Schroder then you're giving up our only good bench player, plus they wouldn't take that contract most likely.

AD is a free agent till after next year. Worst case you trade him this summer and recoup a lot of what you lost in the original deal.

I disagree. The Thunder don't trade for AD if they think its a rental. I think AD wants to win. Pairing him with LBJ in there is a 8 years gap in their age. Father time will come knocking on LBJ's door at some point. I personally think that Westbrook and George give AD a better opportunity to win than LBJ who's 34, while George (28) Westbrook (30).

This makes sense. He wants to win. AD and Westbrook seem to have a connection during prior all star weekends. Depending on the price I think the Thunder should see what they can do.

But, this team has it going. To blow it up (they would have to since they don't have the draft assets) for AD is something that needs to be ventured. I am interested in the price for Randel and Holiday, if we can't get an AD deal done.

Right because OKC wouldn't trade the future hall of famer. What are the Pel's gonna do with Westbrook? They want to deal AD for younger assets. Guys who are going to play through in the playoffs in 2025.

AD wants to play with Westbrook not get traded for him.

A guy playing 20 games a season = AD?

He has never had a season where played under 60 games. This guy is playing at a silly high level of basketball. I would trade everyone but Westbrook and PG13 for AD. If you have those three me and you can be on the court with them and we would be just fine.

I know the Thunder are playing at a high level right now. But, this kind of talent does not come around too often. When you can get guys like this you get them. Figure out the other stuff later. Don't, get me wrong, I love where this team is at Adams is a beast an absolute team player, Ferguson has the respect of Westbrook and George and is hitting 3's at a 47% clip this month, he is driving the ball to the hole, and playing epic defense for a skinny 20 year old. But, if you can get AD for these guys you do it.

I know from confidential source that getrichordie made a convincing pitch to New Orleans GM about Schroeder's potential and we are close to a 3 team deal with the wizards sending Schroeder and Roberson to NOLA, Adams and Diallo to the wizards to receive AD and Beal. Presti is working on the details. Maybe we will have to send a 2nd round pick to get the deal done.

It was just a matter of time. Dominos are falling for real!

how would you all feel about etwaun Moore for abrines, diallo and a second? Moore is under contract for next year at 8.6 mil and is shooting 41.7% from the 3pt line. He would also fit into our trade exception but I dont think just a couple seconds would be enough to acquire him.

Jrue would be incredible playing off ball between Russ and PG. I just don’t see it happening though

That's the smart path to take. Forget about Anthony Davis. It feels like the script has been written already. Go after the rest of the guys on the roster like Moore, Mirotic, and if they made a deal for Holiday I would consider just moving to Oklahoma City.

Ill take those odds in Toronto. The fan base is already on the end of their seats why not double down. The deal would have to start with OG and Siakam. Those two would excite me if I am New Orleans front office.

People who are betting on OKC at 14/1 are stupid

Those are pretty good odds considering the circumstances. To be tied as the 7th most likely team is way higher odds than most conventional wisdom would dictate. If I was a betting man, I would throw in a hundred dollars at least.

Having more than 5% to get AD is hilarious (even more considering the lack of assets we have). Not sure who would be stupid enough to bet on OKC/Spurs at these odds.
