Ehh, yes it's not a lot of money to Davis in terms of how much he makes annually, but 50k is still 50k. I'm sure he's not happy about it. Obviously this is a hyperbole, but situations like this are how players go broke 10 years after they've retired.

Lebron is also recruiting Kyrie to come there as well if they do get AD. It's underhanded for sure.

It can immediately— however, it counts as half his salary for us to trade him and his full salary for NO to receive him. Once his salary get large enough, it becomes functionally impossible to S&T him.

By the way, a simple trade of Hayward and Tatum for Davis will send out >$13 million more in salary than it brings back. If the Pels include Solomon Hill, it's pretty much a wash. If they include E'Twaun Moore instead, there's a >$5 million gap.
