Ok. So in my opinion, if you do the same deal you mentioned with the celtics but replace Tatum with smart then not only would I do it but I think it trumps this offer here by the lakers.

Which is why just cause Tatum gets the deal done immediately that doesnt mean its necessary for it to happen.

And no I wouldn't think it's a low ball offer either.

It’s tricky, because Hayward is hurt and Brown and Tatum play a big role for us... But because of the Brooklyn trade, Danny was able to build a playoff team and a rebuilding team at the same time.. Kyrie/Smart/healthy Hayward/Morris/Horford is a top 5 team - and Jaylen and Jayson are as promising a pairing as any rebuilding team in the league has - Young/Collins? Lauri/Carter? Ayton/Booker is maybe better - but Booker was drafted in 2015.. Fox/Bagley, maybe.
