Glad Trae and Collins will get to rep the 'A'.

Looking at the rosters, half of those players won't play.

Luka and Ben Simmons will likely sit out to play in the AS Game. Ayton and Lonzo have been injured.

It'll be interesting to see...

It might be time to revamp this thing again. There don't seem to be a high enough caliber of foreign players this year.

this is not a surprise but still so cool that both Trae and Collins were selected to Rising Stars.

To put in perspective only three teams have two players in the game -BKN, ATL, and LAL, and only one team- Kings - have three players in game

15 teams do not have a single player in the game

Collins and Young are looking good. We all knew JC was the truth in his rookie season despite Bud not wanting to give him the minutes. Young has been playing very well lately and if it wasn't for That Guy then I feel Young would be a shoe in for ROY. Watching both of those guys is a real joy. This team isn't that far from being pretty good. If we can get two good rookies in the 2019 draft to go with what we have I think by the 2021-22 season we'll be in the playoffs injuries permitting.

3 more seasons to make it back to the playoffs? No way. Hell, if they play .500 ball the rest of this season they win over 30 games. Add 2 top 10 picks this draft plus a “good” starting level trade/FA (SF or C) and Hawks are sniffing playoffs NEXT year.

They should be on this and Trae should be 1st team all rookie. Huerter getting a spot should be a given on one of the all rookie teams.

Who are you and what did you do with my moribund board-friend, saphron? Post is way to positive-leaning to be the real saph.

Depending on how the offseason plays out, I could actually see us challenge for a playoff spot as soon as next season. That could be more of a testament to the failings of other EC teams but it's not out of the realm of possibility.

Meanwhile in Texas ... well, let's just say it's a good thing we opted for the Mavs' top-5 protected pick this year. 'Cause that thang definitely wouldn't be conveying next year. :)

Welcome to the show Soth! :D
With East as sad as it is, Hawks may contend for the 8th playoff spot next season.
We have a great 1-2 offensive punch and their defense is making incremental improvements.

So far, no one has left, via trade. Hawks have been recently playing .500 ball. If, next season, Hawks are as good
as they are now, we will make the playoffs. Since we are winning half our games and we are adding two players
from the draft, looks like an over .500 team next season.

Hate to break up a winning combination. We have that now. If and when we trade, if it doesn't make us better,
why bother with the trade? Almost all our players really want to be here. That is a pleasant thought, knowing
our past history.

Chemistry means something and this team is starting to develop it. I know Hawk fans want to keep changing the furniture around here but that's not how you build a champion. I doubt very seriously there will be a lot of changes at the deadline. In fact, I expect Dedmon to be extended.

This team as is could make a run at the playoffs next season. When factoring in a couple of players from the lottery this summer, plus a trade here or free agent pickup there, barring injury, you're looking at a squad that might be slightly over the .500 mark in a year's time. That all but guarantees a playoff spot in the East.

Deserved recognition for both of them. Collins is an All-Star candidate playing like this for a full season. Young has been really making positive steps in every area of his game (notably defense and efficiency) and putting up very impressive raw numbers all year.
