Would be harsh, but Ainge is not sentimental. We won't be in the market for FAs for a long time and I don't think they'd even care that Ainge moved on from the guy after that injury.
Normally I'd agree with you because we all know that about Danny. What I'm saying is that Brad would go to him and say "I do not want you to trade this guy." That's not something Brad would normally do either. But for THIS guy, for Hayward, with their history, if Danny still did it it would under the kind of duress that he would NEVER normally get from Stevens. THAT. IS. HIS. GUY.
