So many options, nothing but time will tell.
Let Kyrie walk and Davis not come. How bad is a future with Rozier Smart Brown Tatum Hayward Morris Horford Baynes and Williams?

What I appreciate the most in all of this, is that everyone hear really understands all of this. Way better to come here and laugh at the rumors than to be all in on the media as any form of truth. Thanks everyone.

I think the type of guys on this team have too much pride to not play hard.

I also think most of them have come to terms with the fact that this team isn't in its final championship-run form yet, so I'm sure they've all prepared themselves to be traded if a talent like AD became available.

What monster offer? They have nothing except hyped underachieving players. Bucks could offer Middleton Maker and others and the Raps could offer OG Van Vleet and Siakam and have better packages than whatever the Lakers can. Boston can offer the most. Its good business to wait.

You keep using that "Monster" term, but I don't think it exists. After pondering this for a couple of days I think Jaylen Brown may just be a better asset than anyone on their block. They don't have a kitchen sink. It's more of a basement slop sink. They can't really do what BKN did with picks with King/Marks around because Davis keeps their floor high even if Lebron falls off. I was a Lonzo fan at the draft, but I was a bigger believer in his shot. Now that it looks like a broken thing, Jaylen has the best all star potential out of the 4 guys. After the slow start due to injuries, he looks fine.

Monster offer is 4 young players and 2-3 first round picks. It's up to New Orleans to determine if they like the young players or not.

Magic knows if he doesn't get AD by next Thursday then the Lakers are done.

I think it's gotta be a distraction. But let's face it: your NBA worth is how well you play. "It's a business" as they say.

This said, I personally wouldn't like it--not at all. And given the season has already been somewhat disappointing, this kind of pre-knowledge certainly doesn't inspire the kind of high motivation to overcome it.

I’m a big fan of this kid. Can we pry him away from them too?

It's also worth noting that, catchy headline aside, all Woj really said there was "the Celtics sure would like to trade for Anthony Davis".

It's as vague and general a statement as he could make, really.

Probably not, I did propose a trade yesterday which included Kyrie, Tatum, salary fillers, Picks etc...For Jrue and AD. It doesn't make sense for the Celtics or Pelicans though. Celtics would be worse in that situation then if they had Kyrie and AD.

Not playing hard or not playing team ball will only reflect poorly on them. These players want to get paid and succeed in their profession, whether on the Celtics or not. Their reputation and future contracts will partly depend upon their entire body of work.

There’s no Plan B for anyone, and NO will have several teams going hard this summer, including LA.

If Kyrie tells Ainge he is leaving (I give that less than 1% chance) then I'm all for going after Jrue Holiday

If Lakers offer isn't good enough now then it's hard to believe it will be the best one in July

Pelicans want a bidding war, and they will get one this summer. And even if the Lakers wanted to move on, they can’t. All the big FAs have already told LeBron to get stuffed.

Doesn’t meant they will move on. They are desperate.

Exactly. The offer will go down if anything. Ainge is a bloodthirsty shark but he's not an idiot.

Brown, Williams, Yabu, Sac pick, Memphis pick.

Best offer for a dude with 1 year left. 1 year. Hell Kyrie had 2 years left. Thats a fair offer.

Not enough salary. Even if MEM pick conveys, which it won't.

I understand "**** the Lakers" thing and all but you are not fair at all. Kuzma has 6 30+ point games this season alone (including one 41 point game). Guess how many Tatum has? ONE so far in his career!!! For such a highly regarded prospect (especially offensively) he sure doesn't manage to back it up when he has the opportunity. Kuzma similar to Mitchell has shown to have much more of that alpha mentality than Tatum.

Besides, before LeBron went down their record was 20-14 compared to Celtics 20-13 while playing in the much tougher western conference. So again, not fair to say their youngsters are underachieving bums.

LeBron and KCP for AD and Jrue works now.

I just wonder if Williams, Yabu, Rozier (sign and trade), Baynes (salary), JB, Kings pick in 2019, Memphis pick, Celtics pick in 2020, Celtics pick in 2022 would beat other teams offers. That is 4 firsts and 4 young players. Leaves us with clips pick and our pick in 2019 to help fill out roster. Resign Morris.

Kyrie/Pick
Smart/Hayward
Tatum/Morris
AD/Pick
Horford/MLE

Ehhh, he'd fit well, but don't think we have room for Holiday.

But if the Pels are gonna give us an additional gift to along with AD, Moore would be much appreciated
