Have you once considered that this is all just theater? LA and an NO got caught with their hands in the cookie jar and how are posturing to keep the heat off?

He ticketed for LA in my opinion. They are more desperate and you love to deal with desperate. Don’t believe the smokescreen.

Lakers assets are dog **** and even Lebron knows it.

No way. Ingram, Lonzo and Kuzma are perfectly fine. Thats the starting package from LA. Thats the penalty they will have to pay.

Need a little luck with the lottery of that King’s pick.

If we get AD without giving up Tatum there will be a nuclear holocaust on the GB. Bring marshmallows.

They are glorified roleplayers. Our young guys blow them away.

On a side note I am going to the C's/Lakers game next week and I can't wait to beat that trash up. Same with beating the Rams in the Super Bowl.

There haven't been many scummier superstars in this league than him.

And yet the media paints him as "classy."

See thats just not true. Ingram, Lonzo, and Kuzma are perfectly fine. Thats not to include whatever else they ask for.

Same. But one of Al,Hayward or Smart HAS to go in the deal essentially for Salary purposes. No one is taking that Hayward contract now so unfortunately, it looks like we have to lose him or Marcus to make it happen.

The media is begging stars to play with him. It's disgusting. You know I always thought the reason Kyrie got the shot he did at the end of game 7 was because Lebron knows he isn't clutch enough and also if Kyrie MISSED you could blame Kyrie for losing that title.

Same **** we heard from people who didn't want to trade for KG.

KG took Sprewell, Cassell, and Wally Sczerbiak to the Western Conference Finals.

Everyone is aware of that.

This board was decidedly against trading for KG, and him being a 1st round playoff victim was repeated over and over.

It was dumb then, and dumb now.

AD is a **** stud who is better than our best three players combined.

You keep saying they are "perfectly fine." What does that mean? Also, if they are as good as you say they are, then please tell me why they look like a bunch of lost chicks whenever LeBron isn't playing?

Plus, we don't even know if Lonzo is ever going to stay healthy. He has been in the league for two years and has spent most of his time in street clothes.

This is why it’s almost not worth it. Yeah you would have AD but zero high end youth and and the DNA of the team would be ripped apart. Also, Stevens wouldn’t have the ability to keep minutes low like he wants to.

There are a ton of other variables that nobody is considering.

Because its not just them. My rank would be Kuzma, Ingram then Lonzo. Add in Zubac and maybe Hart as well.

Except it has A LOT to do with them.

Last year, Tatum, Brown, Smart and Rozier took us to Game 7 of the ECF. What have Kuzma, Ingram and Ball done that is even CLOSE to that?

Hart is a glue guy and nothing more. The Pelicans are not going to give a crap if he is thrown in the deal.

The Celtics' young talent is so superior to LA's that it's not even funny, and you KNOW this. You just don't want to lose Tatum and Brown so you are just trying to convince yourself that the Celtics are not the favorites to land AD even though they clearly are.

And for the record, I do NOT want to trade Tatum, but I am not blind to the facts.

And you know what else? If the Knicks offer Porzingis and their draft pick (which could be No. 1), their package is also better than LA's.

They are all decent players but none of them are going to be stars let alone superstars. Tatum has that potential and is fulfilling it at a rapid pace. Basically, this is a star driven league and Tatum is going to be one. He’s almost worth all of those Laker guys by himself.

Were they really against it?

I got to be honest, I looked back at the old trade threads with Kyrie/IT when I was bored once this past summer. I spent a lot of time reading them.

You KILLED everyone. Also you kept saying the deal would go through when it looked bad for a week there.

And yes the pro Kyrie posters I took mental notes of. 8-)

AD is worth the gamble if he wants to be in Boston.

I love the guys we drafted because I've seen them grow up.
But AD is 5 levels above our guys.
