Demps is going to be fired and I dont think he wants to go out as the guy who gifted LA another shot at a dynasty, per the article.

My gut feeling is he ends up a Laker, just giving my thoughts on the chances as stuff stands right now with the information we know.

I mainly wanted to shade the Knicks. It's not entirely rational on my end (though, is anything related to basketball in NYC rational?) but I find it laughable that people think they will have any sort of good fortune including getting Zion.

Demps will get fired if the Pels take a lesser package from the Lakers rather than Boston's. This will be a test for him.

I think he ends up in Boston. Really hope Tatum doesn't go, but he probably will.

I also think the Knicks have a much better shot of landing him than the Lakers, who don't seem to have much of a chance.

Toronto? Forget it. The Pelicans will laugh at any offer they make.

Zion Williamson is the best prospect to come out in a long time. Do not sleep on the New York Knicks here.

BOS: 55% (goes up to 65% if past the deadline)

NYK: 20% (goes up to 30% if past the deadline, a lot higher if they get the #1 pick)

LAL: 15% (goes down to 5% if past deadline)

TOR: 10% (goes down to 0% if past deadline)

The Knicks 14% was very deliberate -> odds of landing pick #1.

Also, do not be surprised if LeBron suddenly has a "setback" in his recovery from his groin injury and ends up missing the rest of the season because he's "hurt." The Lakers need a lottery pick to have any shot of making an offer that will entice the Pelicans.

Interesting. If that Memphis picks comes in 5-7, perhaps they would deal it to us for our future Grizz pick.

My response was very deliberate. They aren't getting that pick. They are the **** Knicks; good things do not happen for them.

We are going to re-sign Kyrie, trade for Davis without giving up Tatum and then watch the earth turn flat

Honestly, I'll give you guys the best case scenario if I'm the celtics. It's a bit of gamble and I doubt it happens. AD is traded to a team in the east, (Pelicans don't want him trade to the west). Kyrie signs here long term. AD plays out his contract, by that time Lebron is older. AD signs here as a free agent, we don't give up anything except salary dumps. That's the best case scenario. Second best is we trade for him this summer.

Toronto at the deadline makes sense: it could mean two titles in two years for the Raptors. What NO gets: Siakam, Anunoby, two Toronto picks in '21 & '23 (high pick given 2 missing stars) Miles, and Valanclunas (sp.)

True, this is better for Toronto than NO but I can see the possibility.

lol, yeah, that's why I didn't bother replying to yours. Just when GoCeltics123 changed the Knicks odds.

I've seen Horford mentioned in deals, but that guy is going to be a Celtic next year. He wouldn't opt in without assurances of not getting traded to New Orleans and an opt out at his age is likely to make more sense anyhow.

Horford will 100% block his inclusion in an AD deal— im expecting him to opt out and eventually agree to a ~4/70 type deal. We also need him for the above, as it is ADs preference to not play the 5.

4/70??? That could get ugly.

More like 3/80.

Cap exploding again, don't worry about it.

That's what the Blazers paid Evan Turner. If Al took less than $20 million/year, I would be happy with that.

He's not opting out of 30m guaranteed to take less than 20m. 25m starting salary for 3-4 year? I'd like that. Hopefully, he does as well.
