A healthy Porzingis is probably more attractive for the Pels. But yh NYk is trying to go big! They got the contracts to match AD and a few nore assets. Any protections on that pick?

Dsj, Knox, the 1st pick and fillers for AD. Sign Ky and KD.

Lakers are sweating right now. Lol

Real question: Why would anybody want to play for James Dolan?

Again, I live here, I love NYC. I get why people would want to play here. But not for Dolan. He's a trainwreck. The NYK organization is a dumpster fire.

That I agree with but at least with Tatum you're buying 4 years if youth that no matter how good Davis is, he cant do that.

Why not? Davis is 25

I just haveve an issue giving up all that when KP could of been had for far less while saving some of our assets.

Davis is far better than KP and isn’t coming off a torn ACL

Doesn't matter. Will replace him with a better player using their cap room.

They just hurt their odds at Zion significantly with this deal

Davis will be 26 by the time the Cs can get him. And yet again, a player gets traded for far less than one would expect.

Lol what's with this "we get AD or Kyrie walks "mentality? There has been literally no evidence to support this theory and ample evidence to disprove it

Bingo! I don't get they hype about players wanting to go there. Even if it's Kyrie/KD that franchise is so poorly run even Knicks fans would agree.

These are valid points and I dont disagree. I just think if we aren't winning the title with either trade that I'd rather take my chances with more assets then we have to give up.

And that isnt taking into account that Davis is already saying he doesnt want to sign an extension here. we cant take one part of his word while not taking the other part equally.

Kyrie and Durant talk. They will know well before the summer if this would happen or not.

Does Kyrie talk to anyone else? Maybe he already talked to Davis before he stood in front of thousands of people and said he was signing here and then put out a commercial

It's NYC.

But we still hold the cards. Offer Ky the supermax and ggive the Pels what they want and we won't have an issue. Get cheap and we will get ****. We have been robbing people left and right for years..time to pay up.

I have not once said Kyrie Irving is leaving the Celtics. My only point is it's definitely something you can't dismiss now.

Return to Boston Celtics
