They already have 23 wins with only 32 games to go. Luka, Barnes and THJ is more than enough for another 10 to 15 wins.

15 is a super stretch. 10 is aggressive but possible. They just lost players and didn’t get players back in return. They are going to struggle.

They got courtney lee and thj back.

Im not worried about the pick now. We have to see what the pelicans and grizzlies do. AD played his last game as a pelican and one of Gasol and Conely could be traded.

If somehow Luka gets “hurt” post asb and they shamelessly play 5 g leaguers then i will start sweating lol.

Sounds like the pick they are sending to NYK is top 3-5 protected. I think it's clear KP plays this season, so they should still be pushing for a playoff spot.

Or TS could just trade the vets for some draft assets and do things right.

Don’t know why I was thinking he was sitting this season out. I hope he does play so they can win some games..

He was complaining with the Knicks about playing a month back. I don't know if that was just bickering between he and them. If he was ready then, he has to feel better now.

I'm sure Dallas will do everything to appease him. I'd like to see him play for the entertainment level alone.

Knicks are also getting two future 1sts, 2021 and 2023, not sure what the protections are.

DSJ and Matthews weren't having much impact. They will miss D Jordan's rebounding. They are getting back THJ who can be effective when he's on. 10 wins is easily attainable, putting them at 33 wins which is usually 8 to 12 range prior to lottery.

Exactly. Just go back and copy and paste my prediction. Ur luck u didn’t bet me bleach I woulda been toast. #squawkvomesbackimtoast

For once, I hope things work out in the Hawks' favor. If Dallas has to lower the protections of the pick they owe us, they may as well do it this season and be done with it. Them dropping the top 5 protection and then proceeding to implode afterwards due to chemistry or injury issues would be the ideal scenario here. Is Kristaps even cleared to play? I've heard nothing about him being ready to play.

I think they have to do it this year. It rolls to 2020 to us, then in 2021 to the Knicks - that's trading back to back picks which is against the rules.
