AD thread: Rich Paul - AD is not being traded today

The Ingram we see now is the Ingram I’ve been harping about. Before last year’s injury he showed strong flashes of exactly this type of play we’re seeing now. Same with Lonzo.

When healthy and not stymied by surrounding players on offense, BI can be an all star. His defense is already elite, so it’s not unreasonable to expect he will be an elite wing on both ends.

When healthy, Lonzo can perhaps become the best defensive PG this league has ever seen, like next season already. He’s already top 5 in my book. Offensively, he’s a generational level playmaker. Fix the shot. Done. Elite on both ends.

Kuzma is an explosive scorer and a great fit next to any ball hog star due to his ability to play off the ball. Elite all around multi faceted scorer in the making. Fearless, but needs to be more so on the defensive end, too.

Hart is a work horse beast bruiser on both ends who can guard 2-4 on switches. Not a star, but the type of role player every championship team needs.

Zubac is showing that when not sick, he’s about to become one of the better big men in the game. What he did in Europe last summer was not a fluke. He’s a future big man to be expected to put up 20-10-3 as a starter rather easily and scoring at a high clip.

That, and picks is quite a bit to get in return for AD.

If I were NOP, AD would already be here.

My guess is that they want high picks and not players who need to be re-signed starting next offseason. The offers could be combos of players and picks involving a 3rd or even 4th party.

If I'm NO why would I want last year's Lakers team which has no marketable star? If they trade Davis they are starting completely over.

Part of me thinks this is part of the master plan to get Kyrie and AD over here with LeBron. Next step is to smear BOS as a potential trade partner so NO has no other option but to trade him to LA. Then Kyrie settles in to the $30ish cap space in the summer.

Would explain why LA would offer up the all-in offer that they did, they need Ball-Ingram off the books anyway so might as well offer them.

The thought of Zo and the other youngsters playing elsewhere is bothersome to me because I really wanted to see him grow and develop in the P&G but that trio (LBJ, Kyrie, AD) is tough to pass up.

I'd like to see them grow at their own pace in New Orleans. Ingram might end up a borderline top 10ish player by the time he's 25 if he develops as he should.
