Not giving John a pass but I think we can acknowledge he was much more injured than we thought these past two years.

Hopefully this is true. Wizards have to play great team ball just to beat teams now, when with a healthy Wall they could just run them out of the gym. I can't even remember a fast break that ended in a Beal corner 3 these past months. The team has also missed the Wall -Gortat pick and roll.

I'm thinking of the player. If he is done as a player I'm glad he'll be able to benefit monetarily from the talent he had. Moreover, Achilles tears are an injury that we're starting to see more decent returns from these days.

That's a legitimate question. I don't know if it matters under the CBA. I guess the insurance policy that covers his salary would trigger an investigation?
