I think they are desperate of getting AD to La this season, and not wasting a year of lebron. That’s why they want to scare boston of trying to deal in the off season. They feel they could compete now with AD and lebron. At least its getting clear for us. Best we should move on. We have tons of assets to look forward to. Lets hope ainge is smart about this.

Lebron always needed one or two all star HOF level players around him to hope to win a title.

That’s the name of the game today. The more star power the better. can’t blame him though, look at the warriors, b2b finals and they still got KD. Lebron knows he’s on the decline, he doesn’t have the luxury of time.

We don’t owe IT anything. If any, IT was expecting a huge payday and we dodged a bullet. imagine paying him the max, and he’s out for the season?

They traded him to a championship contender - who traded him to the Lakers - where even being banged up he put up some decent per-minute stats. And he still didn't get a contract.

If they are trying to get Davis to LA - and it's possible Kyrie's comments were frustration spilling over about Klutch-brand rumors - this is a sustained media blitz and power play. The timing of the trade request, the rumors about LA and New York, and the Davis Sr. blast... they're huffing and puffing.

Hole in regards to us landing AD. Danny is ballsy, but no way he pulls the trigger if AD feels the same as his dad. These comments are being placed in the media for a reason. Him and his camp reallllyyyyyyyy don’t want Boston.
