Re: WWE General Discussion II
The fact that WWE refuses to push Rusev despite that he's amazing is just baffling to me. Dude could have been one of their biggest stars. Instead, he's going to end up in AEW and be one of their biggest stars.

I mean Rusev and Lana could turn out a bit like Lana and Cody (maybe not on the business side, but from a wrestling side they could do that).
Rusev also is one of the few guys in the wwe mid card who could transition into being a world title guy and i don't think many people would have an issue with it.

Re: WWE General Discussion II
What's the difference between Rusev and Becky?
Both are solid ring workers and mic workers both are wildly over yet one is floundering and one is getting
pushed to the top.
If you're not over with Vince nothing matters...but no PPV wins in 2 years for someone that was red hot
is baffling and inexcusable.

Watched that WWE24 Mania episode. I'm trying to think if there was ever a Mania match I was more invested in and entertained by than Rousey's debut. After it was over I went back and rewatched the match. So damn good.

So Jax legitimately hurt Truth during the Rumble, eh?

At this point, it's hard to tell if it actually happened or if they're just leaning into her reputation as being an unsafe worker to generate heat. To me, the latter seems really stupid, as it breaks kayfabe in a way I dislike (kind of like Ronda telling Becky she's won in real sports), but this is WWE, and they often do equally and even more stupid things, so it wouldn't surprise me either way.
I'm fine with wrestlers acknowledging that what they do isn't real in interviews with third-party publications (like, say, Sports Illustrated), but I hate when WWE itself acknowledges it on screen. It'd be like seeing characters on Game of Thrones backstage out of costume drinking coffee, only they aired it during an episode. You gotta maintain the illusion of realism on screen, even if we all know it's fake.

Not everyone can be a world champion. Sorry but I agree with Vince, I don't think Rusev is world champion material. Vince already notices him and Vince probably see him as a very good hand that's why he is one of the most featured wrestlers on the roster. If you ask me, Rusev is in a great spot career wise.
When everyone keeps saying AEW and that he should go to AEW, but here's the reality, even AEW can't push everyone to the moon. Someone has to be a midcarder and someone has to be a jobber to make someone a main eventer. If everyone is a main eventer, then no one is a main eventer.

Re: WWE General Discussion II
Wwe just can't help themselves sometimes. For the first time in a long time, a main event for Mania with some real juice behind it, one that fans are dying to see, is just handed to them on a silver platter and they insist on the self sabotage. It's like they sit around and wonder how they can f*ck themselves and the fans over. This Lynch/Rousey thing is red hot so what do they do? Let's add Stephanie into the mix and continue to make Charlotte into Woman Reigns.
There's just no winning here for anyone. Their plan is so blatantly obvious. Lynch won't be cleared so Charlotte will be the new Rousey opponent, then at the last second Lynch will get cleared (maybe by Shane's doctors because god knows we need another Shane v Steph angle) and she'll enter the match to defeat Charlotte who was only ever there because she's the one they picked, need someone other than Rousey to eat the pin, and to attempt to take some boos away from Ronda. Sad thing is, Charlotte doesn't even benefit from this. She's awesome and if they just let things play out her time will come again. This is a quick way for the crowd to forever give her the Reigns treatment. Rousey will get secondary heat like Lesnar does for not getting pinned. Becky's win will be cheapened etc. just doesn't make sense.
On the last solomonster sounds off he had a great idea for the swerve though. Do some angle where if Charlotte beats Lynch at one of these throwaway ppvs coming up she's added to the match. Fans will be pissed, knowing the outcome. You could even have Naytch out there so they know Becky is gonna get screwed. Then have Becky go over clean, earning Charlotte's respect in the process. Will add even more juice to the Rousey match.
If you want to keep the swerve going, have Rousey turn heel at Mania and align with Steph (since their insisting on a mcmahon inclusion on any big storyline). Fans love the chase more than the champ anyways, and if Rousey is gonna get mostly boos anyway it won't hurt her.

To be fair to the Wrestlevotes account they called Daniel Bryans new championship belt days
or a week before it happened.

Hard to imagine them making an outstanding offer to Dolph Ziggler of all people. I mean, he's good and all, but I'd have to think that a big name refers to someone like Ambrose, Styles, or Lesnar. Is Dolph really worth big money to AEW? Meh.

Becky vs Charlotte vs Ronda > Becky vs Ronda. Charlotte delivers every time she's in a big match.
And I don't mind Ronda turning heel at WM and retaining.

It would also be a strange locker where Dolph Ziggler was the highest paid guy. He couldn't carry a mid-card belt in WWE - these dudes think he can carry a company? Seems like a stretch to me as well.

Disagree. Charlotte is probably the best wrestler in the company but she has no place in this story.
