GT #52: Bucks @ Wizards - Sat - 2/2/19 - 7 PM

Post#1 » by nate33 » Sat Feb 2, 2019 5:20 pm

There are three games left before the deadline:

vs Milwaukee
vs Atlanta
@ Milwaukee

We are 2.5 games behind Miami and 3 games behind Charlotte.

I don't mind trying to win games down the stretch rather than tanking, but I want to win on the strengths of our future players (Wall, Beal, Porter, Sato, Brown, Bryant, maybe Green), not by relying on vets who won't be with us in the future (Ariza, Morris). Those vets should be traded for whatever value or cap savings we can get.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Ted will sign off on trading them unless our playoff hopes are all but eliminated. So ideally, we lose these three games and drop 4 games behind our competition to hopefully convince EG/Ted to sell.

So, Go Bucks!

I think Giannis is playing this time. When Wiz beat them on January 11th by 7 points all Green/Ariza/Beal played at least 39 minutes. On the other hand Wiz have added sharpshooter John Jenkins to their roster so beware Bucks!

Giannis is playing. Bledsoe may sit this one out.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I beat ducler

Bucks are on a roll. They're 37-13 with Coach Bud at the helm and more floor spacing and ball movement. Wizards are 22-29 with a crappy coach who has no system.

I'm happy for Bucks fans!

Maybe we'll get our first look at John Jenkins, whom the Wizards just signed to a 10-day after failing to renew Gary Payton's same. Despite Payton having come in & played lights out in his only duty as a Wizard.

I remember liking John Jenkins a little bit in 2012, the year he was in the draft -- though certainly not enough to warrant him going #23 (where Atlanta picked him).

Ok... going to start watching the game on dvr -- ff through ads & catch up right at the real-time half-time!

SEEING how Giannis has transformed his body and how Otto has only put on 15-20 lbs since 2013 pisses me off.

73 points at the half. I know they are full of injuries, lack of freshness and shorthanded.. but come one! 73.. at home.

The situation like Wizards are at the moment... Brown not getting ANY minutes is pure sabotage of development of this team.

When you look at Bucks.. they are really impressive team.

Yay, I can't wait until we get the 8th seed and lose by an average of 25 to Milwaukee in a 4-0 sweep. :noway: Imagine if they tried hard and had Bledsoe.

Nat was right. This is a 55+ win team without Wall’s selfishness in the way.

This beat down brought to you by Reality. When you beat a couple minnows and think you're a playoff team. Reality...b*tch slapping teams since 1946.

Take Giannis out and the Wiz cut the lead in half. Unreal.

But we beat Milwaukee (sans Giannis), beat Philly, beat the Knicks in London, played Toronto to overtime.

Look, I don't mind the way the team is playing aside from tonight without Wall, It's fine and I've grown to get tired of his game. But how good is this team really? About .500 without Wall? Maybe about the same with him if he's 100%. Real fans that don't plan leaving once they don't re-sign certain players. We need to bust this sh-t up in a week. So even if we don't trade away the Overpaid 3, we can at least try and get some value for Kieff, Green and/or Ariza.

For the record, I screamed all last year to fire Brooks and hire Bud. I wanted him more than any coach in the league and it wasn't close. His system is awesome. Instead we get the suck offenses of Flip, Witt, and Brooks

I tuned in to catch the last 6 minutes of garbage time.

McRae looks like he belongs in this league. I guess, at his age (27), teams would rather take their chances developing someone younger with upside. But McRae looks like a legit 10th man, good enough to make the rotation, at least on bad teams. He's better than the guys at the end of a lot of benches.

Giannis was 17/17 from the FT line. Didn't miss one. That's pretty impressive.

That's because Giannis spends his time at the gym while Otto club hops looking for punnany
