Between Lebron's age and AD making about 8 mil less than Lebron and essentially allows the team to sign a 2nd superstar FA. Since AD is a big (cant dominate the ball) and has like no media baggage, any superstar wing out there (KD, Kawhi) would love to pair up with him and get the lion's share of the glory (due to being the primary ball handler). Then the team is free to trade the youth for a 3rd star, or see if they can fit around the 2 superstars.

If Lebron is gonna play these types of shenanigans, sitting out games to power play the team, and trying to publically muscle out Luke (not that i think Luke is a good coach, just the way its happening is not needed), then ship his ass out.

I honestly wouldnt worry too much about AD being unhappy with Rich Paul chirping in his ear. As long as KD or Kawhi joins the team, everything will be forgiven.

C - AD, Zubac
PF- Kuz
SF- KD or Kawhi
SG- Ingram, Hart
PG- Lonzo

Yea you know what, i'm waaaay more down with this team than LBJ + AD with **** surrounding them.

He was literally injured. The only people saying he's sitting out games to power play the team are random Internet message boarders. It's embarrassing that people are wanting to trade LeBron.

DNP - load management.

On one of the biggest games of the year. Fighting for the playoffs. Days before the trade deadline, when he’s trying to get all our young guys traded off the team. He really does give his heart to the purple and gold. What a warrior. Reminds me of the time when Kobe tore his Achilles and still shuffled over to hit the free throws.

Bron is not playing to not damage his legacy. He will only play if we get AD else will shut down for the year.

Knicks are going to trade for AD at KD behest with their picks (4) plus 2019 (Zion) plus Mavs (2) and their young players.

KD will make sure a super team is built in new york by adding AD/KD/Kyrie/Jordan . KD has two rings now and will win one this year. If a super team of AD/KD/Kyrie is formed in new york it will win three more rings. KD gets six rings like Jordan and becomes GOAT.

LeGroin: Update "It's a Business, we're professionals"

Post#206 » by stan francisco » Wed Feb 6, 2019 2:50 am

Now what?

When asked how he thinks the trade rumors has affected his young team mates, he said he didn’t know, that we’d have to ask them. As if distantly removed from the lower cast of the team. Also, he has never been in that situation so he wouldn’t know how it feels but he imagines it must be tough on “some of the young guys” (you know, the ones he just tried to move out of town).

Coaching them through it like a big brother veteran leader that $30+M would suggest you should doesn’t really work when your’re the reason for the hurt inflicted.

So now what LeGroin?

How do you now put these guys on your back, how do you now take them under your wing and expect them to willingly trust or buy into anything you say; at all, on-court basketball issue or not?

How? Time to showcase some of that leadership now. Let’s see it. And no, 40 and 15 won’t do it. Kobe scored 81 at Staples. Magic used to be our point, and Jerry West, oh and KAJ and Shaq and Worthy and... One on five bravado isn’t gonna cut it.

Let’s see you earn their buy-in and loyalty, earn their will to play for you. Unselfish is the branding. Let’s see it! You’re sure getting paid for it. Right?

What do you guys think? Should we ditch him now like Miles has suggested for eons or should we give him a few months to reconcile what’s been smashed into pieces? Should we trade him this summer for AD? Thoughts?

Ingram just said “I can only control what I can control, which is, how I play basketball.”

LeGroin wants to control things way outside of his jurisdiction. That’s when things go rotten, when leaders become self serving over team serving. Secrecy is extremely corrosive in a supposed team situation.

Here’s your script, LeGroin:
How refreshing would it be if he came out publically to say he tucked up earlier in his career by meddling too much with the business side of things, that he has apologized to his team mates for putting his brand above his team; that he from now on will leave that garbage completely to the team GM of whatever team he’s lucky to play for, keep silent about what he would like unless asked to approve a trade a la Mitch/Kobe and from now on focus only on being a good team mate and start passing the torch by showing the young guys the ropes and personally become their teacher instead of trying to be their playing GM.

Yeah, right.

True, however LeBron is going to learn really fast that the Laker fan base has little patience for any star that doesnt win a championship for the team. I doubt he can handle that scrutiny.

Why do lebron's teammates need to be butthurt over potentially being traded for an all time great player? THEY DIDNT GET TRADED. THEYRE STILL IN THE NBA. THEYRE STILL BILLIONAIRES. ITS NOT LEBRONS JOB TO MANAGE THEIR BIG BOY FEELINGS.

Nobody played for anyone or anything, we lost by some 168 points or alike.

Deflated, I think describes it. “What to play for?” was tattooed to their foreheads.

I find the whole anti-LeBron movement to be so laughable. If you don’t like how things are going, start a fire Magic thread, stop pretending he’s a helpless bystander. This is his master plan in action.

you're not allowed to say anything bad about Magic on here though. Either way i place them in the same boat. Lebron has a history of trying to trade teammates away for other pieces, so yes it is fair especially when you consider how much Klutch is probably behind the trade request to begin with. Having said that, it's really quite concerning just how public most trade discussions have been made since Magic took over. Offers are being made public before the calls are even made. At some point you have to dial it down, you can't just run over to the nearest lakers reporter just to spin your part of the story every five minutes.

If LBJ doesn’t repair this quickly, I’m gonna demand Magic’s resignation, and for a trade of LBJ to be Ryan West’s first order of business. My patience with LBJ is wearing out very quickly.

You know, if this team chemistry wound grows more toxic, doesn’t heal soon, Magic would have good reason to trade him. But he won’t do that.

So, how long does Jeannie wait until she pressures Magic? Would she? How bad would it have to get before he gets fired? Would Magic ever humbly resign due to under performing in his own self evaluation? Lol.

If I were Jeannie and this over the next few weeks turned into a bigger toxic storm than now, and no clear chemistry repair happening, I’d fire Magic and trade LeGroin.

LBJ is supposed to unite his team, not divide it. He’s the leader. Magic is the boss, the president. Keep your star in check.

Well, then I should be in trouble. I just said what I think about his leadership in Miles’ thread. He should be fired for this BS. He has a forked tongue and operates from what’s best for him (and LBJ) — over what’s best for the team.
