Serious question: is Edelman the second greatest player that ever played for us (given we all know who the GOAT is)?

So tough.

You guys would know better than me seeing as how I'm not a Pats fan, but guys like Gronk, Ty Law, Richard Seymour, Vince Wilfork, Matt Light, etc. all have a case.

Well, outside of Julian and Gronk a few times, it will take somebody stepping up.
Good assessment:

Yep. Although I must qualify it by staying I've only been following the Pats more closely with the advent of streaming, at I'm not American. Before the I was limited to the Superbowls.

Amm, not really, Gronk is actually greater considering his career, but if Julian can stay healthy for 2 more seasons he has a great case for HOF although he has only 34 TDs.
