A great player for our garbage.

Be awesome if Wes Matthews wants to play in OKC. I feel a more attractive market will buy him out though

I only see Houston as a more attractive destination for a player like Wes Matthews (with OKC he can get playing time with a good squad and more money than other destinations)

"The New York Knicks are more likely to trade Wesley Matthews before the trade deadline than DeAndre Jordan.
The Knicks have received multiple trade calls on Matthews with the Philadelphia 76ers a potential suitor.
Matthews and Jordan are on expiring contracts."
He wont make the buyout.

Wes can shoot but man, mavs fans really hated him this year. Maybe he's fine at the end of the bench but i wouldn't get too excited about him.

I'd rather Wes get minutes than Diallo, but I'm not sure he's the guy that puts us over the hump against GSW or even DEN at this point. Of the assets left out there remaining he's still one of the better ones up for grabs, but I wouldn't trade much for him.

Maybe this is better for another thread, just let me know.
Wondering what you guys think about Jabari Parker. I’ve been trying to figure out where the bench scoring is going to come from. If nothing else, Parker can score the ball. If we get a Matthews or Ellington, Prince, Temple, etc. Parker could be a nice fit on the second unit offensively.
Am I crazy?
EDIT: As a buy out candidate. Not on his salary.

He’s kind of like kanter with the knees of Derrick rose.

I actually think Davis would want to come here and consider re-signing if it wasn't a disaster. He's made favorable comments about the organization. We just likely don't have the assets to get him.

Now is when you ask the question,"who benefits from this leak?" Answer is obviously Nola, and the simplest reason for asking him not to report the full list is that la then knows what assets it needs to beat. This feels like posturing.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Same. And he and Russ used to have the same agent and were friendly.

You don't think Rich Paul can tell the lakers who they are competing against?

Re: Trade Ideas Thread: Deadline Edition
Davis is in the second season of a five-year, $127 million contract that expires in 2021. He has been patient with the Pelicans' personnel problems and their frequent missteps. He loves New Orleans and swears he doesn't long for a major market. He does, however, long for a well-run, well-balanced franchise. He sees it with San Antonio and Oklahoma City and plans to hold his team accountable to find a way. Cousins' arrival is a start, but the Pelicans are devoid of depth and developing young talent.
