RULES

Yahoo Settings
Roster Positions: C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, OF, OF, OF, Util, Util, Util, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL, DL, DL, NA
Batters Stat Categories: Runs (R), Home Runs (HR), Runs Batted In (RBI), Stolen Bases (SB), Batting Average (AVG)
Pitchers Stat Categories: Wins (W), Saves (SV), Strikeouts (K), Earned Run Average (ERA), (Walks + Hits)/ Innings Pitched (WHIP)

FA Draft Rules
1) Draft picks are based on Waiver Wire priority from the previous season. So the manager with the 1st priority at the end of the season gets the first pick here and so on.
2) Any player available on Yahoo who is not prospect eligible (130 ABs or 50 IP) can be picked
3) FA Draft consists of 1 round only
4) After the draft is complete, all remaining players go on waivers.
5) Waiver Wire priority for the new season will be set based on the reverse FA draft order
6) Any drops needed to accommodate a draft pick needs to be made along with the pick.

Prospect Draft Rules
1) We will use lotto balls to enhance the chances of the lower teams getting a better pick, while also discouraging tanking.
Prospect Draft Odds - based on final standings after playoffs
5 lotto balls each for the 9-10 teams
4 lotto balls each for 7-8 finishers (other non-playoff teams)
2 lotto balls each for playoff teams (not including the champ)
1 lotto ball for league champ
2) We'll have a 4 round prospect draft every year after the FA draft is complete. This will follow the snake format
3) Maximum prospect roster size is 10
4) Any promotions/drops to accommodate a draft pick will need to be made along with the pick.

Prospect Eligibility
1) The following are the AB & IP limits for prospect eligibility
Hitters: 130 AB
Pitchers: 50 IP
2) Once these limits are met, managers will be given a 2 week notice within which they need to make the necessary roster moves to facilitate promoting the prospect to their major league roster on Yahoo
3) If after 2 weeks the prospects is not promoted, then the roster will be locked from making any other transactions. Please note this is the same way that the DL works, if you have a player on your DL who is not DL eligible. Any drops to ensure compliance after the 2 weeks will need to be done through me.

Trades
1) Any combination of major league player/prospect/FA draft pick/prospect draft picks maybe be traded
2) You may only trade FA/prospect draft picks for 1 year in advance. For example, until this season is over you may only trade the 2019 & 2020 draft picks.
3) When we restart next year for the 2020 season, the 2021 draft picks become eligible to be traded

N/A Slot Rules
1. You can put any non-rookie eligible player in your n/a slot.
2. If you want to add someone who is less than 130AB or 50IP, then he needs to be on your minor league roster or should have been promoted from there (without getting dropped and picked up as FA). This will be the equivalent of sending someone down to the minors, like IRL.
3. If you’ve had a rookie-eligible player on your roster at the end of last year, or traded for one from a manager who had rostered them last year, then they too can be placed in your n/a slot. Note that this player should be in your 25 player keeper list. You do not get to keep an extra player, so the N/A move will need to happen after the FA draft.

Free Agency / Waiver Wire Rules
1) Do not pick up anyone who is prospect eligible, until the prospect draft is complete. That includes any player who has less than 130 ABs or 50 IPs.
2) Waiver wire priority will be set to the reverse order of the FA draft order.
3) There is a weekly 4 moves limit

In. I would like to vote on a new rule. If a player on your yahoo roster is Sent to the minors in real life, you can drop them and move them to your prospect list so long as you do not exceed 10 prospects at any point.

Waiting on Ralnor, otherwise we are all checked in.

OldNo7, yes I'll address that issue soon.

Couple of other notes. A lot of teams are over the 25 player limit, so please start thinking about whom you are going to drop. I'll set the date for roster drops once Ralnor checks in. I also will post the correct prospect lotto odds and FA draft order in the next couple of days.

Couple of other notes. A lot of teams are over the 25 player limit, so please start thinking about whom you are going to drop. I'll set the date for roster drops once Ralnor checks in. I also will post the correct prospect lotto odds and FA draft order in the next couple of days.
Hello David!

My team has 26 players. Based on last year rules one player that finished 2018 season on active roster and has NA eligibility can be moved to a NA position.

My pick for that position is Alex Kirilloff.

Thanks!

sent a reminder to Ralnor. Will give him a couple of days more. But I guess it's not too early to look for a replacement. Let me know if you know anyone who would be interested.

OldNo7, yes I'll address that issue soon.

Dinamo, yes you are right and Kirilloff is eligible. But you he'll need to be one of your 25 keepers. You can then move him to your n/a spot to make room for an additional WW pick. I've added a post with the rules, hope that makes sense.

Shouldn't the standing be based on regular season??(if so I had the worse record for draft pick thing)

I looked back at last year's rules and it was based on the final standings after playoffs.
