He extends the list to:
LAC--In LA where Davis wants to be
Bucks--Klutch client Eric Bledsoe
Knicks--Davis wants to be there and knows if we don't get AD that Kyrie probably goes there because of KD
LAL--LeBrlon James and Klutch
All of those teams KNOW that the Celtics have the most assets, barring NY getting Zion. THEY KNOW IT. THEY ARE SCARED WE ARE GOING TO GET HIM . And don't you think LeBron and his b**** named Rich wants nothing but misery for Boston, as a Laker and as main rival of ours for years?
So they leak that he doesn't want Boston so that we don't get him, but Ainge just laughs, kicks back with a nice glass of milk (Mormons can't drink obviously), and watches the media frenzy ensue.
Sad some of you guys can't see this. Just plain sad.
My thoughts exactly. Don't fall for it, guys. It's all an act of desperation, and it's going to get even worse in these next 72 hours as the desperation hits a fever pitch.
If you're AD's camp and you want the Lakers, and you know Boston can beat any Lakers package, the tactic to use would be to flat out say AD won't re-sign in Boston. The trouble here with such simpleton tactics, is you are trying to bluff a poker master in Ainge who sees through this and will call your bluff 10/10 times, and trade for him anyway. So what do you have to do in response? Ratchet it up a notch and act like you're not just blacklisting Boston; in fact, you're even listing a small market you'd go to (Milwaukee). The issue is everyone, including Demps I hope, can see through that as these other teams you'd be willing to re-sign with don't really have a shot at trading with NO anyway so we're back to square one: Lakers vs. Celtics.
The above is what could have been easily predicted to happen, and lo and behold, it has now come to pass. Trust that with each passing day until Thursday things will get ratcheted up even more as the Lakers get increasingly desperate. Don't fall for it today. Don't fall for it on Wednesday.
Steely resolve, like Ainge.
And for those of you saying "yeah, that's all well and good that Ainge will do it, but then what if we get screwed in the offseason when he leaves" please trust that the chances of that happening are very low, for reasons that have been discussed ad nauseam. An AD trade necessitates Kyrie staying put so that whole fear is gone. And if Kyrie is staying put, you even get outside shots at the KD move happening too. If Kyrie isn't staying put, well Danny's not getting AD anyway so you have nothing to worry about.
