Just let go Russell dream.

They signed Spancer D on two years $22M contract, that's less money than Gordon will make this year alone.

His third year is pretty much free pass for him to get payed more later ( $13M player's option).

Russell will get his max-close to max with Nets, they showed many times they work well as duo, they are team without PF-C and they will have to look at FA to solve that problem more than think about Russell deal, that's no brainer for them

Sean Marks on Woj Podcast re DLo: “one thing I learned from my days in San Antonio is there’s a need for tough love conversations. As it pertains to D’Angelo, we said, ‘we’re going to put our arms around ya. We’re going to give you love on and off the court’” and he’s bought in.

Kenny Athinson , Nets coach, who was brought with Marks is full of praise for Russell all the time.

if you are familiar with them than you would know what they promised : patience , slow but sure rebuild and repairment of situation that Billy King left . They did nothing shorter than amazing job to this point. Zero reasons to belive they will just let their "highest pcik" (not drafted by them but oh well ) walk just because they payed his backup $10M a year ( for two years ).

I can see the Magic making an offer to DeAngelo Russell, but other than the Montverde Academy connection, which I bet doesn’t move the needle at all for him, he’d have no reason to come here. The Nets are better, and getting better by the day. He has an up in coming star in the backcourt with him in Caris Levert. Here he’d initiate the offense only to have Evan Fourniers selfish ass blow it up for his own shot. He’s staying in Brooklyn.
You look confused...let me fill you in.

I was proposing grabbing D’lo after we let Elf go. He was on and off injured and looked about a fraction as good as he does now. What a shame.

I cried for Jamal Murray trade during his rookie year. Oh well. Let's find new gem, send it to WeHam and demand 5% of next contract

Russell and Dinwiddie would soon couple to cost well North of 40M a year.

About 35% of their cap towards two legit starters at 2 of the most important positions is absolutely worth it IMO.

I actually see Dante Exum as a realistic and plausible target as our PG. His contract is $9m/ year and is buried in Utah's bench. He hasn't had a chance to shine playing behind Donovan Mitchell.

If you can make a trade (a similar contract size would be T.Ross on $10m/yr) that would be great

Guy should play Glass in Unbreakable. He missed 174 of 382 games he could play. That's 46% playing rate, in other words he is good to go half of a season. Too bad you can't pay him half of money for half a*** player he is.
Also it's not like he has been good when he did play. He is PG who can't pass and shooting guard who can't shoot.

I still wonder if Mudiay is a potential target.

i used to love Exum but he is too injury prone. He also fell out of the rotation at a time in Utah this year.

Let me just say I've never been high on Markelle Fultz and actually did believe De'Aaron Fox was the best point in that Draft. In fact, Fox was the guy I wanted dropping to #6.

I do like J.I. though but I never have been high on Fultz.

I think if you can get him at a bargain, you see what you have the rest of the season and if you don't like him, consider declining the 4th year option.
