East is still going to be a battle. Phi/Mil/Tor are elite teams. Boston is really good as well but i think their a slightly below those three. Phi also is 4.5 behind Tor so its going to be a tough road going to play a series in Tor and then another series in Mil.

Cool that we got an entertaining Eastern playoff to watch. Been Lebron wins for so long.

Shows you how much value Tobias really has. I am not sure we could get that package for Blake, and I think Tobias will have a similar contract to Blake after this summer.

Clippers incredibly smart to get a bunch if assets for Davis trade potentially rather than sitting on their butts and resigning Harris to a huge deal this summer when he has little to no trade value afterwards...

I think Philly has overpaid by a lot. I love Tobi but he is a UFA, which essentially makes him a rental especially if they resign team-breaker bully boy Butler. I don't think he puts them over the top that much an they gave up a pick package that is as good as what the Lakers have offered for AD considering that it includes Miami's unprotected 1st in 2021 which has a great shot to be a top pick.

Philly gave up a whole lot for Tobias. Why? Why are they going to pay these guys 4 maxes? That's too much. Clippers destroyed the Blake deal. They absolutely demolished us and philly.

So if we didnt make the Blake trade we could of had Bridges/SGA+all those picks the clippers just picked up. Sweet

Good trade for the league. Philly can go with Golden State now. Embiid will go at Cousins and could potentially derail the whole thing from there and then you've got a lot of guys who can attack the Curry match up in the P&R.

Still happy with Blake for what it's worth.

Wow. LAC make out like Bandits. Never intended to keep Harris because he doesn't have enough flash for them. Harris could fit well in Philly. They want to keep him and Butler though - Harris turned down 18M AAV over four and after this season is probably looking at $25M per so is Philly going to give 250M to two players this off-season?

Yep. But we can still salvage it while Blake’s value is what it is and get a couple 1sts.

Do Clippers make a bid for Davis now?

Thats my hope. Still a chance we come out good on that. Blakes value has to be higher now then when we traded for him.

A lot of teams are going to be star hunting. Theirs only so many stars to go around.

Boban to Philly is damn interesting as well - he's like a lefty specialist in baseball. He can be very effective is a very targeted situation.

Tobias gets traded more than anyone... it's crazy.

Why?

Because he's actually a good player with low ego that's great in the community, but not a superstar you can build around. He's the perfectly sized added piece you can get for a non-lotto first.

Sucks for him, though... never gets to play anywhere very long.

he got downsized by his playoff campaing. I wouldn't be comfortable paying him more than 20x year.

Philly didn't get as fat as they would like, will be really interesting to see what happens with Butler, Tobias and Reddick this summer in free agency.

this makes me like Griffin's trade: we would have given max money to Harris and Harris is way worse than Griffin.

if we were smart we would of traded him to the sixers for what the clippers rec. Obv we all know our front office isnt smart.

We would be sitting on a future unprotected Miami pick, sixers first rounder this year, Shamet, and last years lotto pick +cap space.

Our front office isn't smart based on what?

You realize that scenario you gave wasn't even an option for this staff, right?

They lost to an insane buzzer beater that's probably in the history books, easily. That stings but now they really can't max all five guys at contracts they all want.

I feel pretty confident that if we had T.Harris this season we wouldnt be moving him we would be riding him to a 4-0 exit in the first round of the playoffs. Maybe i shouldnt say just the front office its the owner as well.
