Thinking about this, I would say forget about getting AD if we got the no.1 pick overall. Focus on getting a guy like Bradley Beal for Knox, Frank and picks (not 2019 pick).

It’s less for pick 2, 3, 4, etc.
And those are only cap holds. If we get the pick signed before free agency, the cap hold lessens to the actually salary. No rookie gets $9M per off rip.

people really get caught off guard by the prices. NBA making crazy money. BRI split is lovely. cap is high. it's a percentages game. #1 overall pick starts off at like 7% of the cap. sounds fine to me.

can't expect salaries to just stay commensurate with outdated salary caps.

i can see your point but for me i don't make it personal. it's just about what you can do for the team. and he can do a lot.

and ironically, his insecurity is part of what would make him come here. people don't give him credit for winning with the warriors. he comes to a team with 15 wins, albeit with another star, and wins here and they'll have to.
