Do you want Ellington?

Would Abrines + 2nd round pick suffice?

Sure I would do that but Miami is likely looking for savings. Adding in abrines kind of kills that for Miami.

Edit: Didnt realize he was in the PHX deal.

He's basically what we have always wanted abrines to be, minus the worms. Career 41% three point shooter. I would rather have him than wes matthews.

Ellington going to Phx actually makes him easier to trade for now than he was in Miami. Miami wasn't interested in taking any salary back. Phx would probably just take an expiring back and a second considering they already promised him that they would move him. Either that or he winds up on the buyout market and he can be picked up then. However, I think OKC may want to get him in house rather than competing with all the other teams jockeying for buyout guys if that is possible.

Well so far no pretender/contender made a move to improve for this playoff run besides the blazers acquiring Hood (and Bullock for the lakers). I don't take the sixers deal into account because it's mostly about their future (even if they improve now too). Most teams are only trying to make cap space or to get under the tax...
Still so many expiring that could help some good teams. Maybe teams aren't willing to give up assets with Gs dominating the league :(

It seems like its been pretty busy compared to last year. Last year it was completely dead before the day of the deadline.

No **** the Knicks can't find a deal for Kanter

PS : I know no one wants him but I would be fine with it for the minimum

Can he play any defense or is he just catch and shoot?
