It feels good to possibly strike out in free agency and not have to worry about what’s next. Flexibility is great.

yeah, i'm having problems seeing a fit. don't think okc takes him back even though he's loved there. they know more than anyone his defensive liabilities. i thought maybe a fringe playoff team like the nets or hornets. but the hornets got willy tho who is pretty much a young kanter. and he's not built for the nets offense. so i don't know.

If the Knicks sign Durant and Conley makes it through the deadline, he's a Knick this summer. I love Conley and have always been a big fan but he does have some serious injury issues. Big contract left as well. 2 more years around $66 mil.

In value terms:

NYK just got 5 FRPs + DSJ for KP and from a team he didn't even want to go to (per Stein's article).

NOP turned down 5 FRPs + BI, JH, Zub

Zub is a RFA this season, NOP already has a former LAL that couldn't earn the max in Randle.

Not even aggressive to say LAL lowballed, some NOP math nerd showed Dell a quick breakdown and decision was easy.

(Assumptions: FRP = 20mn per and KK & LB fetching a FRP each which actually think is a tad bit generous for LB. KK is an easy FRP for production/cost, top 10 not a chance though)
