ATL/PHI: Fultz for Dedmon - No picks. Just a flat trade. I don't like the value but it's a great fit for Dedmon.
ATL/LAL/ORL: LAL trades 2023 top 10 protected 1st, KCP for Vucevic
Orlando trades: Vucevic for Lin and LAL 2023 top 10 protected 1st
Atlanta trades: Lin for KCP
KCP likely won't waive his NTC for Orlando. Atlanta makes the most sense. Got a spot on the wing open in the rotation. From GA and went to GA. He will likely waive it for ATL. ORL been coveting Lin for awhile and they get a 1st round pick from LA.
I have my doubts of LA being interested in trading a 1st just due to the AD trade. I could see them being interested in trading Zubac and Josh Hart instead.
ATL/SAC: Bazemore for Alec Burks
ATL/PHI deal likelihood: 80%
ATL/LAL/ORL deal likelihood: 95%
ATL/SAC deal likelihood: 40%
ATL/PHI will come down to picks. I think PHI will want a 2nd from Atlanta. I also think Temple or Ross is an option. With Boban being a defensive liability to the 10th degree. I can see a situation where Philly want a legit center. Boban has a lot of causal fans but NBA personnel dislike him due to his terrible defensive impact. A team like Philly could seek another 5 but one that is actually decent and can start. Ross is a strange one because all of my contacts have said ORL wants a 1st for him and no one wants to give them a 1st for him except a late one with a contract. ORL wants to resign Ross. They also stated they want to resign Vuc but things are changing as the FA pool has shifted a lot in the last week. Expect them to trade Vuc but keep Ross. Philly would likely be more interested if they didn't have Wes Matthews as their #1 target and them as his #1 target.
ATL/LAL/ORL is probably going to happen. AD will be off the table to the draft and LA needs to win but they are not talented enough right now. KCP makes a straight up trade impossible due to his NTC and Atlanta could have interest in just a rental of him just to see how he fits long term. At the end of the day, LAL cannot leave this day empty handed. They must come back with something to show Bron. I see ORL being okay with Zubac and Hart in a trade. Both have solid value and both can help Orlando in their rebuild.
ATL/SAC: While it goes unsaid, SAC lost 46 MPG a game today and gained 28-30 MPG but that's at 3/4 in their system but lost it at 2-3. They need another legit wing bad and have been on Bazemore for a couple seasons now. They have tremendous cap flexibility and can take him straight up for Burks who sucks and is a buyout candidate for anyone he's on. The issue is Burks can't be attached with other players and I am not sold SAC wants to trade Yogi Ferrell.
Atlanta would have 39,800,256 in taken cap space. That includes 8 players and Incomplete Roster Charge (4 spots). That's critical moving forward.
I see all of these trades happening today. SAC needs another 2-3 wing badly who fits their system and personality. LAL has to make a big move and ORL has to get value for Vuc. KCP has to waive his NTC and with Jabari in WAS, this is the only option. PHI will trade Fultz for an impact role player who fill a major need.
For Atlanta, KCP gives us a wing option to look at and maybe resign if we see the value and fit. Burks is trash, he will be cut and we will likely sign Jaylen Adams off of his two way. Fultz will likely be out for the season and just practice with the team.
All in all, we regressed but we added some potential and got off of salary for 2019-2020.
