Ignoring the cap savings for next year.
Is Temple + Green better than Bradley?

Jesus, now that we don't wanna win, we get two good pieces for Bradley? great trade if there's no picks involved, but what for? don't rule us out of the postseason yet

I'm waiting for more trades though, send these guys out for unproductive expirings and 2nds

You'd be hard-pressed to find players who aren't better than Bradley at this point.

Temple is an unproductive expiring
at 6'9" Green might be worth a look, but he's expiring too

FO IS taking Doc's vets away so he has to play Shai, Rome, Shamet

Not a fun of Green and Temple but I like this move more than tobias move because of getting of Bradley and his nonsense 2019 cap hit.

Love this move. I actually think Bradley has been playing decently for the last month or two—but a p[layer that is “playing decently” and taking time from good young players is a net minus.

Boban and Scott combined to play 1100 minutes in 55 games—20 mpg. Those minutes now go to JaMychal Green and Motley. Green will get most of them, and that’s okay. He’s a pretty interesting player. He hustles on D, has a decent outside shot, and rebounds well. With the exception of passing, I think he’s equal to or better than Scott (who I liked) in almost every way. The numbers this year seem to show that.

Code: Select all

         G    MPG   FG%   3P%   FT%   PPG  RPG  APG  REB%
Scott   54   14.4  .400  .391  .667   4.8  3.3  0.8  12.3
Green   41   22.0  .484  .396  .788   9.8  6.1  0.9  16.0

Green has a good (7’2.25”) wingspan and pretty good size and bulk at 6’9”, 230. He averaged about 10 and 8 as a 27 mpg starter for over 100 games. He’s a guy that might be nice to keep if necessary and if the price is right.

Steal of a trade. Get rid of a useless player who has some guaranteed money next year for 2 expirings. Also both players are playable and there's a chance the Logo can flip one of em for expiring + SRP. Even if no further move is made, can buy em out to save some money and pocket the win of saving 2m on the cap next year (or 667k assuming a stretch, which i think woulda happened if Clips needed space for 2 max cats).

Logo just straight up doing work.

Temple can defend the position very well and he can shoot. He could help a contending team a lot.

Return to Los Angeles Clippers
