Too much attitude for a guy of his caliber, do not want. We would probably only use him as an emergency big and that would only piss him off.

Months ago I posted I'd really want Kanter of bought out, and that we can't trade cuz he makes too much.

He'd be perfect for this team. 2 year MLE with team option on 2nd year. Either he stays and takes over Theis's mins, or he's traded for salary and AD. Win win.

Kanter would actually be interesting on a 1.5 year partial MLE or 2.5 year full MLE with a team or player option for the third year.. he's only 26, he's a dominant rebounder and putback guy - and I would love to see what happened if he had Brad Stevens explaining concepts and Baynes and Horford mentoring him on defense..

I'd love to take Kanter. Not sure if he plays come playoff time, but he can gobble up rebounds for us the rest of the way.

Gortat's old, but he'd be an interesting help to us in back-up minutes.

Kanter would be a good body to bring in while Baynes heals up.. I dont thnk we need any wing help.. Maybe look at Dedmon or Gortat if they get bought out..

Who's definitely available? Gortat was released, Kanter is being bought out, rumors of Matthews and Ellington, Stauskas and Baldwin, neither worth it.. Would Kanter take our 1.5 year MLE deal?

Sounds like Wes Matthews to Indiana. Do we waive Wanamaker if it means we can vet-min Ellington or Jeremy Lin?
