We wouldn’t even put up a tiny bit of resistance against the top 5 teams in the East.

Not cashing in on Blake’s good season (we’ll inevitably be selling in a year or two after his value has plummeted and the team still sucks), and trying to salvage a pick or young player for Drummond are he real missed opportunities here.

Many people thought the same way about Billups pistons. No star... how could we ever beat the big bad lakers with all the future hall of famers on the bench?

Philly now has to try and gel together.

Toronto is better, but not completely scary.

Bucks though...Basically upgraded Thon to a Mrotic.

Boston, not scared of Boston. I think they are overated.

I'm picking the Bucks at this point to win the east.
Toronto second.
Philly third.
Boston Fourth.

Did you just try to draw a comparison to this team and the 2004 Pistons?

I think if we had an alpha to whip softer guys *dre into shape, I think we have a bigger chance at competing.

the only guy that I'd hate to run up against is Joel. He is in Dre's head like crazy. But if we all played at our best, like that team did.

Now we will have to see how the new pieces fit together and how they gel.

The point is, everybody has an opinion and thought... Those piston teams can't do it... no, never been done before. Boston tried to play ben wallace at shooting guard..... SHOOTING GUARD. Most people think of Thon as a pf or center... I'd love to see if he can be a two inch taller sf than the best in the game now. or a 4 inch ttaller taysaun prince. Prince was known for his defense, but his defense wasn't all that good, his wingspan was the reason he had defense.

Will it mesh? probably not. But there are other players that did squat that were traded from their teams to excel elsewhere (not my fault most of them came from detroit)... but that's the hope. We knew we were not doing squat with the players we had.
