Kemba said Mitch knows what needs to be done to get Kemba to stay. I have to think that "nothing" was not it.

Not understanding the logic.

"I feel no hope in this team because they didn't overspend for a 34-year-old center."

The ONLY redeeming thing here is I assumed we would for sure move our 1st, so I haven't been paying attention to college ball at all. Maybe we do parlay our pick into a good player.

Do you think "overpay for a one-year rental that puts us in worse cap hell" was it?

It's pretty basic. Our franchise player said our FO knows what it needs to do to get him to stay. We didn't do anything. If we lose that franchise player, we'll still be above the cap and will have lost him for no assets.

We had to make a move. I'm not mad about losing Gasol. I'm mad about not doing anything at all.

Move on from Gasol.

What did you want, then? Do you think trading a 2015 lottery pick for a 2019 second-round pick was gonna make Kemba be like, "Oh you know what? Y'all did something. I mean, it doesn't mean anything, but you did something. Sign me up for six more years."

If Kemba doesn’t resign and signs a max contract with another team will we be the first team to lose a max player for nothing in return?

Never mind I guess there is Durant but they HAD to let that ride out. He’s a generational talent.

MJ and Mitch either have a gentleman's agreement with Kemba already in place or we are planning on offering a kings ransom for Beal in the summer.

Im not really upset, more irritated that we didn't do anything. Especially after all the rumors and stuff.

Like one of those movies where the climax is the most anticlimactic climax ever and you wonder "I spent the last 2 hours waiting for THAT?!

Obviously I want Kemba not to leave. Apparently our FO knew what it took to make sure that doesn't happen.

I don't understand your confusion here.

The rumored Gasol trades would've helped the cap situation, certainly not "put us in worse cap hell."

No but he now has the blurb out there to save face if he leaves. He made a statement and we did nothing. We surely could have added enough pieces to make the playoffs without backing into them which we are hoping for now.

You’re ignoring the other side of the coin, we could have traded Kemba. People are just mad we did nothing, this franchise never seems to have any direction.

Hell it wouldn’t surprise me if we lose Kemba then Jordan turns around and trades Monk and Bridges for a borderline All-Star.

Nothing would surprise you right now because you're so mad you want to root for a new team.

What specifically was that, then? I don't want Kemba to leave, either. I also didn't want us to make a stupid trade that could've blown up in our faces in addition to the possibility of Kemba leaving.

Not my job to know or put it together, that specifically is Mitch's job. WTF was the point of bringing him here if he can't produce better than this?

We are the only **** team in our conference that didn't make a move today.
